Hey all,

There's an update coming soon, and for this one you'll need two new files. You can download and extract them now so that you're prepared when the update actually hits. As usual, they are not yet linked on the Downloads page. Here are the direct links:

The second thing I want to note is that I'm going to have to do some maintenance and additional steps at the same time, so the servers will be down for longer than usual while I take care of all of it.  I'll mention this again as the update is finalized, and I'll post a planned schedule for the update so everyone can plan accordingly.

Sorry all, I pasted the wrong path for the TLK file.  It's correct now, but if you downloaded it from the original link, you'll just get the old TLK file, and that won't help you much.

Here's a little preview of things to come.  This post focuses on changes to the customization system.  Here's some of the key features:

Color categories:

Dye colors are organized into groups to find particular colors more quickly.  You'll also note that the current colors for a given piece of armor are listed for convenience and reference.

Colors by name:

Colors are named in a list rather than requiring one to loop through them one at a time. Again, the current colors for the item are listed for reference.

Mirrored modification:

Modify both sides of paired armor parts simultaneously. The example for legs is shown, but it also applies to feet.

Appearance duplication:

Copy the appearance from another suit of armor in your inventory to the one presently being modified. The armor must be of the same base type in order to copy the appearance, since each armor type has different appearance options available.

Thank you for not making "Simultaneous" modifying of both sides the only option.  I like making my outfits different on each side sometimes for extra details.

EDIT:  just noticed this.  "Copy the appearance from another suit of armor in your inventory to the  one presently being modified. The armor must be of the same base type in  order to copy the appearance, since each armor type has different  appearance options available."  AWESOME  now I can premake a cheap suit and just copy it!  Awesome if the DC and costs are removed too.
