New downloads needed for patch coming later today...

Hey all,
  There will be a new patch coming to Layonara later today. Unfortunately it requires that you download an updated HAK and TLK file. You can go ahead and download these early if you wish. The updated files are:
  Layov2 2da v27.rar -- 2da HAK Layonara v19.rar  -- Custom TLK
  These are also available directly from the downloads  page.

I don't think anyone ever finds these "unfortunate." Except the people that have to update them, anyway... *coughs*

Much like in the thread orth made to encourage discussion about updates, the community response seems to be "the more the merrier" and "big is beautiful" in terms of frequency and even size of any form of hak changes. So everyone loves updates and the people putting them out.

updates often mean new clothing options.. I'm still looking forward to the Fullplate Open Cloak look... perfect for Weston... the open cloak look but instead of the shirt it's a piece of armor

I just want to let everyone know, I'm pushing this off until tomorrow. I'm nit-picking one last, but potentially very cool thing, and I think I have it, but I want to test it a bit more, and my brain is reaching its limits of tolerance.
  So the patch will happen tomorrow night, US Timezones.

yeah, thats in JenX... There's a lot of good stuff in JenX but getting at it means a LOT of work filtering the stuff you want out of it.. and making sure you don't accidently put S&M aribeth into the mod ;P

 yeah, thats in JenX... There's a lot of good stuff in JenX but getting at it means a LOT of work filtering the stuff you want out of it.. and making sure you don't accidently put S&M aribeth into the mod ;P

 As Stephen Googles "JenX"...  But yes, I do have to reiterate what Acacea said: so far as I've seen, the community's ideas about updates are, more or less, "the more the merrier" and "big is beautiful." We really owe you guys a lot for doing all of this.  THANK YOU.
