*mental note to self* Don't let Zug in to the advanced crafting hall...must raise level to 11. Then keep raising it as he gets within 8000xp.

*chuckles and smiles* Just joking Faldred!

*sigh*  :)

Yeah, I only found out about the level 10 restriction after spending 21,000 on an advanced crafting badge (waaaaaay back at level eight); only being able to play for an hour at a shot has made it a long, slow grind, though I've managed to get some RP in there as well.

(On an OOC note, I do wonder what that Wemic was doing near Port Hampshire yesterday, but I was either too slow or not meant to follow him.)

You know, most folks would think that annoying the really, REALLY large guy carrying the axe is probably a bad idea...

For today how about some gritty environs. These are some screenshots of Fort Vehl, one of the new starting locations for less than savory characters.

We are aware of the performance hits some of the new tilesets may produce on old systems and have taken it into account when creating combat oriented areas.
And as far as the blue skies, we sort of had to build backwards. See, in the event that in the future the skies are restored to their previous glory, we would have had to go through each individual area and set their respective skyboxes. So instead of going through that pain, we have this nifty little tool that does a massive skybox change to all the exterior areas in game, setting it to the gloomy icky sky that we have now. So right before we're ready to compile the last version that will go live we run this application and voila, nasty darkened skies fun for all the family.

Rolls a one trying to stop from falling.  Nova detrermines he has knocked himself out once again and almost drowns.
