A long time ago, the entire continent of Xantril was called the Roughlands; however, a climate change most likely brought on by the Cataclysm has caused Xantril to become greener. However, some areas can still be called the Roughlands, and there, ancient ruins with long-forgotten purposes are all that break up the sand and shrub landscape
