As far as I've checked, I'm the only one with this issue.
Since a week or two, when trying to log in on Lore, at first I get the usual message of succesful login and being forwarded to the Start Here page. But then I end up logged out again with visitor status.
I have this on two different PC's, different browsers and with all of them I had no trouble logging in more than two weeks ago.

I forgot my password but it won't email it to me.

Just tried to log in to Lore and I get the same bug as Filatus... got to the start page after login, back with visitor status

Ditto

Are you guys using internet explorer? (aka, browser of evil)
-
Google Chrome.
-
I had this happen to me back in December (using firefox). It is no longer happening, perhaps due to a few firefox updates, though that's only conjecture.
-
Internet explorer on my iMac running on Vista
Safari on my MacBook running OsX.
Same result

Everyone still having problems logging in?
If so, please clear all cookies for lore.layonara.com (and layonara.com if you want to be thorough) and then try logging in again.
The issues *should* be fixed but I'll wait on that declaration until people have success ;)

Works like a charm on both Chrome and IE.
-
Was using IE, tried Firefox when you said try that and now using Pale Moon.
No luck even after deleting cookies. Unless I am not doing something right of course.

Can you try FireFox, IE or Chrome again?
Pale Moon doesn't register as a formal browser (shows up as "undefinedbrowser"). I'm not sure if that's the issue or not but can you please double check that?
Thanks!
(Also, don't forget to nuke the cookies in whichever browsers you test with!)

Pale moon is a slimmed down version of Firefox.
Wife could not log into LORE on Internet Explorer.
Then she changed to Firefox and was able to.
She then changed to Pale Moon and remained able to.
So obviously it is something about me, my computer or my profile.

After more experimenting and some help from Dorg, apparently I had very old cookies and was only deleting newer cookies.
I had to go in and change how old of cookies the browser would delete and then it worked.
Thank 1St8 and Dorg.

Thank 1St8 and Dorg.
I think it is awesome that you further abbreviated OneST8.
