Inevitably, with the sheer volume of text we have in LORE, we're going to misspell something. So, when you nice people catch an incorrectly spelled word or a missing period at the end of a sentence, or maybe we just forgot to put a space between two words, please post your findings here and we'll get it fixed up in a jiffy. That's right, I said "jiffy."
-
Thanks Milt.
-
Just to be clear is "jiffy" quicker than A.S.A.P?
-
Way down south where the watermelons grow, yeah. A jiffy is about as fast as a "new york minute." :p
-
Been reading: Confucious? ;)
-
Where does Confucius appear in LORE?
-
LORE: Confucius (http://lore.layonara.com/Confucius)
-
*cough* Getting this thread on topic...
[LORE]Cleanse[/LORE]
... to all undead. Againts foes up to twice...
-
Thanks, Script Wrecked! Fixed. Also added Cleanse to the [LORE]General Feat List[/LORE].
-
From the Sects (http://lore.layonara.com/Pyrtechon:%20Sects) page for Pyrtechon:
The Daughters of Rage are a hushed secret around Roldem and the coast of Alindor.
There is no "Roldem," nor was there ever in-world.
-
Fixed.
-
From the [lore]Barbarian[/lore] page, the last sentence of the paragraph:
Constant exposure to danger also gives barbarians a sort of “sixth sense,” a preternatural ability to sense danger and doge attacks, and their running stamina is legendary.
*Emphasis mine. Guessing it should be dodge.
-
Fixed.

LORE: Common and Unique Ships of Layonara
"Since people first decided to take that tentative and frightening step to travel across the ocean, they have been fascinated by its beauty and repelled its fickleness."
Should it read "repelled by its fickleness" ?
-
Fixed.
-
From the High Reaches Lore Page (http://lore.layonara.com/High%20Reaches).
Third paragraph, second sentence:
"They constitute the only effective way of moving to move lumber from the forests..."
I'm guessing it should be one or the other: of moving...or...to move
I have been known to be wrong before though :D
-
Fixed.
-
Throughout the [LORE]Rofirein[/LORE] subpages, "marshall" should be marshal (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/marshal) (one "el").
-
Script, which subpages? I'm only seeing the misspelling on the hierarchy chart, which is a picture that Ed put there (and I'm guessing he'll need to edit).
-
Just do a global search and replace on the entire Lore database. Nothing could possibly go wrong... :p
High Warden of the Principium, High Justiciar Ordolf Wolvinstar (http://lore.layonara.com/Rofirein:%20Hierarchy#HighWarden)
Guardians of the Wyrm -- Temple Guards (http://lore.layonara.com/Rofirein:%20Hierarchy#Guardians)
Rofirein: Temples (http://lore.layonara.com/Rofirein:%20Temples): 1st paragraph, 3rd paragraph
The Layonara Timeline: 1406 (http://lore.layonara.com/The%20Layonara%20Timeline#1406)
-
Not so much a spelling error, but a mistake in pronoun.
LORE: Oaths and Vows (http://lore.layonara.com/Oaths%20and%20Vows#4)
These are the Laws of Aeridin, so it has been, is, and shall ever be. Keep these laws to live a life true to her:
-
Fixed and fixed, with the exception of the image on the Rofirein: Hierarchy page. That will require editing the picture, and it's not mine to edit.
-
minor spelling error in Toran's oaths and vows -
All life is sacred. Rapine, pillaging, and other crimes of war are strictly forbidden to those in Toran's service. Killing should be an act of last resort. Honor your enemies, regardless of their race, even in defeat.
pretty sure that's "raping".
-
Can you provide a link to the page on which the error is found?
-
Yup:
LORE: Oaths and Vows (http://lore.layonara.com/Oaths%20and%20Vows)
-
LORE: Taur'en Kingdom (http://lore.layonara.com/Taur%27en%20Kingdom)
The space that should say "Current Ruler: Thomas Bydell" currently says "Current Ruler: insert Ruler"
-
LORE: Taur'en Kingdom: Notable People (http://lore.layonara.com/Taur%27en%20Kingdom:%20Notable%20People)
Taur'en could no withstand both a civil war and the constant skirmishes with Sagewald
Should say "... could not ..."

These are all noted and corrected for the new website. Thank you.
