AA's abilities and Trained bows.

I woud suggest making it extra clear that AA's using trained bows, will not get the benefits of their enchanted arrows and other abilities.

Luckily for me, I found out before I actually had purchased any yew bows and other big and extremely expensive cnrs to have them trained. I can live with the lost time, but I would really have appreciated knowing this from the get go so I wouldn't had lost, at a very conservative minimum, 2 weeks of my time working on that project.

Suggestion: adding this to the Unlimited ammunition training page, the Arcane Archer page, and the Enchant arrow page.

Be advised that the Unlimited ammunition trained bow will not work with the Enchant arrows and other abilities related to the Arcane archer, as these abilities require physical ammunition to be present in the ammunition slot of the inventory.
thanks.

Actually...

Hold on this just a bit.  I think it bears some time to mechanically verify what does and doesn't happen.  There's varying (and inconsistent) information on this very issue on the Internet, which I discovered this morning looking for some good source material for wording and such.

My apologies if I am confusing matters. It has always been my understanding that Arcane Archer abilities do not stack with unlimited ammunition bows, or more specifically, that they require physical ammunition to work properly. I am confident this is the case for things like Imbue Arrow, but there is ambiguous information regarding Enchant Arrow.

For the record, however, you did not "waste" anything.  At the rate that Arcane Archers sometimes go through arrows, having a backup bow that does not consume ammunition is a very handy thing.

Thanks Dorg, for your continuous efforts to make things clearer. Waiting to see what you find then.

If it's a simple matter of having to switch bows to use the imbue arrows, and other one shot abilities, that's not so bad. But I would really appreciate to know about the enchant arrows as this is what most aspiring AA looks for, beside the rp.
