Casting Clarity, spell sounds and looks
« on: June 16, 2011, 08:57:41 am »
Well, as many casters know already, Clarity the spell is Abjuration (here in Layonara and LORE, vanilla version is Necromantic).
Yet upon casting the spell the caster still speaks the vocals that sound like "necro, javora, cesha" or something similar sounding, so I was wondering should he/she?
I think these are possible to be changed from the spells .2da or whatever files make the spell itself mechanically.
Of course, such a change is not Top Priority, yet I think it could be a good addition if time allows.
Thanks for considering!

Clarity is Necromancy for NWN, which is confirmed on line 21 of spells.2da. The default Bioware description is wrong.  See here for some clarity on Clarity...heh.

Yes, I know it makes some sense for it to be Abjuration, but Bioware also did some weird shuffling of spells in order to better balance the schools.
