DM Item Clone Wand

Well, it recently came up that having a DM Item Clone wand would be really nifty. Naturally, they would ONLY be given to DMs (as I don't, personally, feel they would be appropriate even for WLs), and would typically be used on things that hold no real value other than RP... For a specific example, the Will & Testament I spent two hours writing with the in-game parchment system. While Pyyran really should have nine or ten copies (he's had time on his hands), I can't really spend twenty hours making the others.

I imagine there are quite a number of other uses for this, like cloning custom NPC weapons rather than having to create them in the palette and spawn them, or recreate them time and again.

Alright, I tried something earlier on and it didn't work - A friend who no longer even plays NWN suggested something (stroke of genius if you ask me) which will allow a GM to clone items....

Politely ask to GM to spawn an NPC, place the item inside the NPC, the GM then places the npc in the DMFI spawn zone, spawns one, kills it. Job done, You have your extra item.

But it would be nice to just click a wand and be done with it.

GMs can use the Writing Quill on an item (any item, doesn't have to be parchment) then type:

~~copy

I believe that is listed in the commands quill usage help file for GMs.

~~helpcommands

Well, sure, that might work, but you have to admit it would be much more fun to spawn a bunch of goblins and kill them all to reap your items. You could even make it a game and have the PC work for the item.

For Hawk?  In that case, it will be a Balor High Prince, those ones that cast Time Stop, among other things.... it is still a balor afterall, never specified how weak or powerful it had to be. ;)
