Good point!  Kinda like Phantasmal Force/Killer produces sounds as part of the illusion.

A true illusion deceives all fives senses.
A perfect illusion becomes reality.

Excerpt from the Invisibility spell description:

"...Of course, the subject is not magically silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as stepping in a puddle.)"

-3.5 player handbook p. 245

Edit: btw path, they can still spot you using spot/listen skills, but their chance of spotting you will not increase if they have see invisibility active.

I've actually seen how nerfing true seeing to not see sneaked creatures works in practice.

I used to believe it was a good idea, now I'm not so sure. It leads to an ever increasing sneak/spot move silent/listen arms race that drags the players into it wether or not they can move silently.

Characters already get away with a lot when it comes to move silent and hide in shadows.

True Seeing is one factor in balancing this leniency of the game engine.
