I was organizing my backpack yesterday and started getting confused. The walnuts, chestnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and almonds all look the same, and I also mixed up the aloe and peppermint.
If I could make some new icons, would it be something you'd have the time and desire to change? Would it be worth the effort?

Everybody seems to love icons so I am sure we could/would use them. I just don't know when we will be doing another graphic update on the content side of things.

This is what I've done so far.

I grabbed an empty inventory page screenshot from single player and superimposed the icons on a new layer. I say this to let you know I haven't done anything clever.
The first column, top to bottom, is ivy, peppermint, and aloe.
The third column is chestnut, pecan, hazelnut, almond, and walnut.
If you like the way these look, I can make others.

Hey gul, lal and I are making some icons too. Want to coordinate our efforts?
And if you need help getting them IG I've figured out how to do it using the override folder (for quick previewing) and put them into haks.
I imagine you've looked up the specifications of the format you'll need them in (32x32 per inventory square, with an alpha channel for transparency yadda yadda.)
But, yeah, lets work together on this so we don't duplicate work
I was waiting to hear back from orth about the project team thinggy... but, if we build it they will come?

If you have more time...could you look at wood as well please. Hickory, Oak and Mahogany all look the same.

: Coordination sounds fine to me. I have a list of about 20 or so items I thought of doing just from thinking of items I use a lot and looking at a vendor for ten seconds while shopping. I wouldn't mind learning the other stuff about the override and haks. And I've got the size and alpha channel stuff down, yeah.

: I'll take a look at anything you suggest. I can't guarantee a new icon for everything, though. Some icons are already good enough, like belladonna. I was going to draw that one, too, but it turns out the current icon looks close enough to a belladonna leaf that it would just be extra work to change it.
I'll look into the branches, but no promises. One log looks pretty much like another to me.

Is there any plan to make multiple wood icons still in the works? Gul? Talan? (I realize we've got a horizon, but that's no reason not to keep improving until we reach it.)
