IC, it reflects the fact that the pawns only have so much coin in a particular period of time with which to purchase the discardings of adventurers and the general populace.  It's a reasonable reflection of the rather dire economic situation during the Dark Ages.

OOC, it means that a lot of people are farming the pawn shops for a few gold here and there.

Yeah I noticed that as well, well I dont know what to really think about it, I guess you could sell to other players stuff 9If you have room to hold it all) if its good enough or get one gold piece, lol.

Pawn merchants were reviewed across the board.  The next update will contain an adjustment to their financial profile.  The new numbers will be those that are intended.  These will be noticeably different from what is currently in-game.
