A Huck Fin Poem
(1/1)
Milo:
Couldn't find the one I got back from the teacher
Any comments welcomed, of course
A man’s connection to others is trust,
The bridgeway to open his heart.
Given a chance, it might crumble to dust,
Or it could create a band on a yacht.
A King that claims the God’s whisper,
beneath the mask, lays a face of greed.
A Duke that pretends the pretentious wisdom,
Of the poems and songs, none which a noble breed.
A poor farmer’s good show spoiled,
Tax collected by a King of Mask.
A soliloquy ruined by the simple squad,
Is there trust in seeing a show no more?
Two boys from the countryside,
Undisciplined, uncivilized, and ragged.
Lots of pranks they counted,
But they has a better heart of trust then
a charismatic King and Duke on a rack.
