Calendar Events / How about another Low Level Romp & Adventure?« on: April 05, 2021, 12:48:37 am »
Let's plan another low-level outing! We could take on a quest or two, and roam and adventure together!
Perhaps take on the lizard tower in the swamps near Hlint? Or some other quest? If none of the days and times I listed work for you - propose others. The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer

Dorand Help me! Every time I pass by an inn or a tavern, I hear the drink calling me. It's smooth velvet tongue calls to my innermost being, yet I must deny it. Day 6 without a drink... I can do it...

UPDATED:
Aka'ashi checks the bag chest and picks up two Lion's Bags. 4587 x 2 = 9174 True value She places 25% value in True in the payment chest: 2294 T She heads out and gathers or crafts all the materials for 2 lion bags: 12 lion pelts 2 spools of thread 2 cloth patterns 6 enchanting oils These items she places in the left-most "Contracts Drop Off" chest. The materials cut 50% from the price, if she understands correctly. 2294 left to pay. She drops off two items for credit: Bronze Great Sword (50% of lens = 1152) Iron scale mail (50% of lens = 2240) Total Credit from the two drops: 3392 minus the 2294 owed gives her a credit of 1098 (and the two lion bags are paid in full) She asks a shop cleaner to speak with one of the shopkeepers and thank them, as well as to check and make sure she did it correctly. I was travelling through Center, when I met some folk... I told them of my problem in keeping away from the bottle, and one of them threatened to remove my tongue if they ever catch wind of me drinking.... maybe fear is a good motive. Since then, I have been sober for three days, the headaches and the chills are terrible. Dorand Help me!

Once Lia hears news of Angela's further interest, she thinks to herself, 'I wonder how many more favors I can attain from our notable pirate queen.'
She then considers quietly, "Perhaps Eileanora does have reason to fear me. I will have to start getting cozy with her." The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer

Roleplaying / Corso Escapes!« on: March 29, 2021, 12:12:06 pm »
After more than a year of raiding the roads and coasts of the Liwich, Boyer, and Sedera Kingdoms, the brigand known as Corso met his demise at the hands of a motley and determined crew of bounty hunters in the employ of the Liwich Kingdom. Death wasn't enough to end him, however, if the stories are to be believed. The bounty hunters claim that Corso is stonebound, and he subsequently has escaped prison for the time being.
Liwich and Boyer authorities further claim to have confirmed the bounty hunters' story after examining Corso's former hideout. And despite Corso's escape, his small army of pirates, thieves, and mercenaries has been disbanded or slain, and his ships and supplies confiscated. Angela Liwich considers this a win, though she is purportedly still in the market for skilled trackers to find and capture Corso. //// A little late in posting this, but my last week suddenly got whacky busy and I'm just now catching my breath. Feel free to RP in this thread, and yes, eventually there will be further quests involving the attempt to capture the stonebound criminal Corso. Thank you to everyone that attended, and I apologize for the sudden disappearance right at the end, and for all the various hiccups along the way. It was my first NWN quest to run in a rather long time, and I had to relearn some things along the way, heh. ////// The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer

Calendar Events / Re: Quest: No Tinks, No Problem!« on: March 26, 2021, 01:52:17 am »//Note that I like you guys showing up on time! I turned up 45 minutes late to Milton's quest last week rather than 15 minutes early as I had intended. I had put the time as given in the quest into www.timeanddate.com, and got a time that, as it turned out, was 60 minutes late. Given that www.timeanddate.com is not wrong in its calculations, and I used the time as posted, there is only one possible reason for this aberration. Having sufferred this problem throughout my questing career, I have had plenty of time to cogitate on what might be causing quest times to be posted that are repeatedly out by an hour for me, and yet accurate for the majority of players. It came to me, as I sat cross legged on the top of the mountain in deep contemplation, that this problem would occur if the quest poster was not aware when they are on summer time, aka daylight savings time. The quest poster posts a time for the non-daylight-savings time zone when they should use the daylight-savings time zone. All the locals arrive at the correct time because they are on/are not on daylight savings at the same time as the quest poster. Whereas the players in a different hemisphere, taking the times posted in good faith, get knobbled. Given that the quest time you posted happen to be the same quest times as Milton posted, I will endeavour to arrive an hour early to be on time (5am local time), Last week, I arrived 45 minutes late to Milton's quest, rather than the 15 minutes early I had intended. This was despite putting the quest time as listed into www.timeanddate.com. Coincidentally, your quest time is the same as Milton's; I will endeavour to arrive an hour early to be on time. ~Script Wrecked The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer

Barley inspects the gear:
Picks up a Greater Archer's Belt: lens x .75 = 21,093 50% of value paid in coin today: 10,547 True 10,547 IOU He hauls in resources for credit: 100 clay x 25 = 2500 25 sand x 40 = 1000 1 glass ingot x 97 = 97 plus previous credit of 4176 Total credit: 7773 10547 owed: minus 7773 in credit = 2773 owed in credit (sand and clay) I'll update this post when that 2773 is paid in resources. UPDATE: Added 20 ingots of glass x 97 = 1940 IOU 833 in resources. UPDATE: Dropped off a Bronze helm, iron helm, and one trick staff. If these are acceptable in trade, then 50% of lens = 3,540 I had owed 833 in trade, so if the 3 items are accepted, then I have a trade credit of 2707. Let me know! Ye have my thanks! ~Barley The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer

Welcome back Polak! I'm sure we met at some point in the early days, I look forward to seeing you in-game sometime soon.
Layonara has been beautifully evolving since switching to NWN: EE thanks to the efforts of our current team and the current community is very friendly and supportive as well. Milty and Lily are also being active DM's at the time, throwing in unique adventures every once in a while for added excitement. It's a good time to return ![]() The following users thanked this post: Hellblazer
