* Those willing to enlist have their names written down in addition to their address. They are then told that they will receive word soon.
Soon a letter arrives containing dates for drill and training exercises along with general information. You are ordered to meet with your assigned seargeant once every week for exercise and weapons training.
On the first exercise it is obvious that most others in your unit have no or very little experience in warfare. Each time the training goes on for a full day.
Payment is received every first day of the month. Recruits in the army reserve are paid 10 gold a month.

Anyone with information pertaining to the current situation is taken to the nearest office of the city guard where you are interviewed. The guard commander on duty assures you that the report will be sent to via the appropriate channels will all haste. // I do not normally do this, but since there were many crashes during the quest and it culminated in a climax, where players were fighting players and the excitement level was high towards the end, some of the informations I passed out during the aftermath was probably lost to most of the attending players (who were already logging out because it was a lengthy session).
I therefore encourage people to check their logs after the quests.

Class: Paladin 10/Commoner 7/Nerd 4/Bard 1 (yeah, I'm an epic character)
Alignment: Lawful good (although the commoner class does add a few variables)
Stats:
Str 18 (half giant, what can I say...)
Con 14
Dex 14
Int 16 (sharp like a knife ;-) )
Wis 12 (likely less than I'd think)
Cha 16 (probably not the looks, but leadership and smiles)
Skills:
Engineering +20 (I like to design stuff and have my name on 10+ buildings)
Intimidate +5 (paladins are good at this stuff, although you wont believe how many thugs like to pick on the largest guy in the area)
Perform +2 (I've had my moments *shifty*)
Spot +15 (eyes of a hawk)
Lore +20 (I know by far too much about fantasy and DnD, sheez)
Concentration +8
Bluff -5 (Paladins do not lie)
Tumble -15 (half giant)
Gather information +10 (need that to study)
