This is my first server in general, when it comes to NWN...My advice: If your getting chased by a monster, don't go into town! I got yelled at because of it...."Someone could've gotten hurt!" Said the high level guy...jeez. lol

Haha, my friend and I had a duet of the llama song in the locker room a couple days ago. I saw rage filter into everyones eyes, as if they wanted to kill us....Still, it was fun  :)

So the cure is basically, I have to die? I do that anyway; it doesn't take much.

Actually, the way I died in the first place was kinda funny. Two halflings, an elf ranger, a skunk, and a falcon all chased me around for a bit: I was going to run into town, but I thought, "Nah, I don't wanna bother all the nice people." So I continued to run, and died...All in all, I got a good laugh out of it, and almost consider it to be worth it |-)

Alright, here's what you do (all though you may get some Human Rights Activists on your case)....bind and gag them, and make them promise never to sing it again.

OR

show them the Llama song. That'll wipe the Isengard thing outta they're minds, and they wont be able to sing fast enough for the llama song, so your good!

NOTE: Stay away from Elminster in Hell until you know ALOT about Forgotten Realms...you'll just get confused.

He's right...I read the entire Elminster series, and by the end, I had no idea what was going on....But, what's the harper series called? I'd like to get it (don't have much good reading these days),

Whew, man steve, that's pretty...traumatizing, to say the least. Perhaps I should put a warning on there...

EDIT: I believe this also deserves an apology...I thought it was nice to watch; I didn't realise that this was a newscast. Sorry for dredging up bad memories  :(

*shrugs* didn't mean to strike a nerve, I just thought that the video was cool. Is this the same incident, or does it dredge up bad memories?

Woo! No idea who you are (well...I do, heard about you), but still, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Never heard a more sincere apology in my life, even if it was a bit humorous at first  :)

I doubt it, but I'm sure the Japanese guys wont mind if a table or two goes up in flames

Wait, you aren't going to burn the table your going to put food on, are you?

Heh. I've only been playing this for a few days, and I find myself about to say *nods* and stuff (without the asterisks), until I realize what I'm doing, and then go the rest of the day without talking, for fear of looking stupid  ;)

Well, maybe not the WHOLE day...don't think I have the self-control

In my opinion, if a man saves 25 people from a burning apartment, and a person dies, instead of saying, "MAN IS HERO, SAVED 25", odds are, it'll be more like "PERSON DIES IN FIRE CAUSED BY TOASTER" or something of the sort....The news seems to think people like seeing the negative things, so they show em.

About the video game violence crap, if you play video games and begin to think "Hmm...if the guy in here can kill people, why can't I?" Then, to say the least, they need to jump off a cliff. And if they survive, do it again. Idiots are giving gamers bad reps...I play wolfenstein, for instance. My parents always yell at me to get outside, or the violence will rub off on me or something....They don't seem to believe me when I say that I have never felt the urge to kill, and I probably never will; and I see worse stuff on the news, anyway.

And now, my tangent is done. Thank'ee for listenin.

Just for Fun / RE: Time travil..
« on: September 27, 2005, 06:39:00 pm »
I never really understood time travel....It seemed to me that, if you moved backwards, you would eventually get back to where you started, and go back in time once again, and again, and the loop goes on forever. The future would be held up because you continued to go back over and over again.

(I say this because I think that, if something happens, thats the way it happens, and if you go back, it isn't going to change that much...guess i'm a bit closeminded that way)

By the way, you all have very intriguing ideas...I'll have to consider some more deeply
