I recall when making up the background story for my character Virtue doing the stats for how much better a reasonably armed and armoured lvl 1 character was over and above a poorly armed and armoured lvl 0 character. Leaves quite the wriggle room for s/he killing a whole bunch of folks. I suppose it's easy for us to forget 99% of NPCs are effectively lvl 0 when the ones we see depicted in game are the lvl 30 guardsmen walking the beat.

How 'bout two travelers headed in the same direction? Two travelers with the same goals.
My, that doesn't sound friendly at all does it? *laughs* Makes me sound downright rude in fact. I reckon i'd apologise but I don't think he'd much care one way or another what I call him anyways. I think he'd say two travelers whose goals are often the same was just fine with him.
All that is besides the point I suppose. He's asked me for a favour. A service. That might be a better way of describing it. I reckon he's pretty much clued into me not being in the favour granting business. Let's say he's asked me to go travelin' in a direction i'm pretty happy travelin' regardless.
Don't think it really matters how much we might travel together, I think we're both just fine with never ... you know ... feelin' much for the other. To be honest with you, I reckon I dream about gutting him, slicing him, spilling his blood no less than I do for anyone else. Maybe even more! *laughs*
I reckon he knows me well enough. The other night, in that Forest of Fog, just gives me a little smile when he turned in for the evening. A little smile that said, Sure, go ahead and do what you want to do. Cut. Slice. Carve. All those things. I can't stop you. Look at me. I'll be asleep in minutes and ain't nuthin' I can do then to stop you. But ... BUT ... if I wake in the morning still with only the single smile and not a second one you've given me with that there skinning knife ... then we'll do some real good work tomorrow. Think about it.
All that in his little before-bed smile he gives me. I hear him. Sure I do. Loud and clear. Don't stop a man from dreaming though, does it?

I personally haven't run a quest in several weeks due to a combo of RL, training/preparing new LORE members and GMs, as well as updating LORE.
In fact, several on the Team have been devoted to working with the new GMs over the past month and a half, and I think you guys have seen some impromptus and quest beginnings as a result. As the new GMs settle in you'll start seeing more pop up on the Calendar, both from the fact that they need less or no help from the rest of the Team, and the fact that since others of us aren't training the new guys we have time to start working on new quests. Looking forward to it! Also, we have several WLDQs in the works, and those take a lot of time and planning for the GM(s) involved. I suspect these are a few of the reasons this month is scant on quests. I'll add my kudos to that of s0ulz for GM Dezza who I think is taking on three of the four new WLDQ applications. Good on ya Dezza!

I'm a bit bummed by this too. Though I am no longer on the GM team, i'd certainly have thrown my vote your way for reasons of play consistency, quest involvement, imaginative roleplay, plot involvement, guild involvement and cross timezone character interactions. I hope you aren't too discouraged and reapply in a couple of months and good luck when you do.
