* As the days pass the rumour spreads quickly from the Brelin Kingdom to the neighbouring Kingdoms of Trelania and Co'rys. In some towns and villages there are outbursts of panic on the streets, which are quickly calmed, however, by the solid presence of the city guard and in some places even militia.
The markets are emptied within days by people who spend most of their money on food and drink to barricade themselves within their homes, where they anxiously and fearful awaiting the ninth day.
Upon the ninth day, however, no fiery colossus emerges and no dreadful firestorm purges the continent. Slowly, people appear from their homes - some joyful and overwhelmed by relief, while others merely chuckle at their own foolishness. Others, however, are angry.

If one travels from Spellguard towards Paruin, one will pass a cluster of trees on the right side of the road at one point. Shortly thereafter the site of a large fire can be seen on the right-hand side of the road. Only charred grass and wooden logs remain of what must have been a huge bonfire.
It is rumoured that the man who claimed himself a prophet of the apocalypse was burned alive on this bonfire. Chased out of Spellguard by an angry mob, he made it this far before they caught up to him. It is said that even the blistering fires could not stop him from screaming about the end of the world... not until the flames took care of that.
There are no eyewitnesses to this deed, however, and therefore it remains a rumour only. *

Several adventurers, however, did take the portal from Spellguard to North Point and are said to actually have set foot on Molten Isle. Whatever their intentions were, the outcome has yet to be revealed.
The seas surrounding the Molten Isle are calm and no enemy ships have been sighted... no dragon soars. *

Merry christmas to everyone in our little community here. Enjoy the days off and really try to clear your heads before the daily marathon starts again in January. If you've taken work with you home for the holidays, put it aside - nothing is that important. A special thank you to the Team for providing us with a continous array of quests to challenge our characters and allow us to develop them within the world. Also, thank you to community who partakes in these quests and help to take them where the GM wants them - and further. It is such interactions that makes Layonara so very special and has provided us with the stories and tales for the lore of the world and inspires people to write and detail it even further. It does not effect any aside from him, Dorg. The area effect does not seem to trigger at all. Dwarves, Voraxians... none get hit aside from the wearer himself.
I don't know how it is scripted, but could one use the same way to do this as the bard song? Just an idea...
