Fixed Bugs / Resting in shapechanged form

When you hit rest in shapechanged form it seems like you recast the form. But when you recast the form it does not layo merge the items.  If you hit rest and you keep going because the rest timer has not  reached zero yet it is likely you will end up dead if you have not noticed you lost your item bonuses. I tested in bear form, water elemental form and air elemental form.I do not think this needs fixing unless it is easy to fix. But I think awareness is important so people do not die because of it, mostly a problem in magic dead areas (since I was told you are not allowed to turn into a form inside a magic dead area).

Fixed Bugs / Wildshape: Dual wield

When you have a parasol of shock redirection in the main hand and a mahagony weapon in the off hand you do not get the +2 enhancement bonus from the mahagony weapon in wildshape.  I do not have any elemental rods on the mahagony weapon so I do not know if that would apply when shifted.

The +3 dodge bonus from Ascender's March does not seem to work in bear form.

I suspect that nothing can be done about it and that it does not work in normal form either because "vs bonuses" are generally flawed in neverwinter nights.

I know I have suggested this before, but I consider it well worth bringing up again.

A function where you copy your armor/weapon. Commonly people use a "doll" and you copy your old gear onto it. Then you equip the new armor/weapon you want to customize and copy from the doll onto your new things.

The customization doll is a lot smoother on all accounts, because you can work on the whole look in one place and you do not have to worry about losing the settings because you accidently click away the menu or whatever and is forced to start over from scratch.

You can add some more advanced options such as being able to enter a number and the part with the matching number will be brought up instead of you having to browse through a gidzillion parts to find it.

The symmetric function is also very nice, where you mirror left and right side on the doll.

I am a bit spoiled though, since I am used to being allowed to use the full range of custom parts. Magical auras, ghost lanterns, weird body parts, tattoos, changing the default skin and so on.

edit03: People complained about me walking around in default armors from like level ~1-9. It is because it is way too much work for me to customize my armor the way it is now. As in, you need to do it all over again when you get a new armor.

People who have played elsewhere have most likely bumped into a variation of the doll.

Unless it has been changed in the last couple of weeks they drop old +1 and +3 heal kits and old cure light and moderate potions.

How about giving each element its own colour for the vfx? While all of them do not look like elemental balls, acid arrow, fire arrow and ball lightning should be readily available to represent corresponding element instead of vanilla magic missile for all of them?

Fixed Bugs / Shapeshift and spell slots

The extra spells slots given from "Ring of Natural Spendor III"(no, I did not typo) are not sustained during a shapeshift so all spells in the extra spell slots are gone when you return to normal.

Not sure if this is considered a bug or not.

Fixed Bugs / Flame strike damage

Flame strike seems to do noticably less damage than the spell description says. While I would love for the spell to be as good as or maybe even better than a fireball spell, it is not what I am asking for. I would like the description to match the damage if there actually is something wrong there.

This is not a one time occurence for me. A two or three other players have complained about the low damage too.

CNR Suggestions/Discussion / Random crafting tool break script

I have broken a smith hammer and other tool kits by simply clicking to see what is in/on the crafting table/anvil. I am surprised that I do not see people raging about that because it annoys me a lot.  Sure, small money for me. But I know others breaking several gem setting tools without crafting anything, simply by looking at recipes. It is extremely ridiculous.

I used copper bullets for my sling. I thought, "I'll use these until I can find some stone bullets". But I have not found any so far. Then the sickle, are there any stone sickles?

Later on I will most likely just use a scimitar. But it is not something I want to use in the early stage of his adventuring life.

the best damage penetration in the game. If we disregard the STR base for dev then Dev crit is all about AB. Once you land within the critical range you want really high ab to complete the critical hit. Like mentioned before, arcane archer has plenty of AB.

I have not done any math for it, but I am guessing Arcane Archer has higher DPS than weapon master
