Just throwing this one out there to see what people think...
I think it would be cool if the helmet's barkskin effect didn't apply the visual barkskin (the natural armor effect isn't affected). That way all the pretty characters wouldnt have to be completely cowered in brown blandness all the time.
It should only affect the spell from the helmet of course - a true barkskin should still give the visual bark effect. There isn't much connection between the metal helmet (of armor) and the nature-theme of barkskin anyway imo.
It's not really a mechanical or balancing idea in any way, simply flavorising.
Lesser Mind Blank should last [1 turn/caster level]. When cast by my character who is a spellsword (5 wis, 2 fight, 7 spellsword), it only lasts about half as long as other turn/level spells.
Tested it with a "normal" wizard character and for him it had the correct duration.
It seems this spell doesnt consider the spellsword's caster level per 2 levels as it should.
The little voices in my head whispering of this place, grand adventures, and good friends, have finally convinced me to come back.
Finally managed to install everything on my new pc, so now im really looking forward to explore the new areas, lore, and other stuff that has happened while I was away.
Now I just need to relearn everything i have forgotten about nwn and Layo... :p

Today I arrived on Mistone. I have spent almost all my savings for passage on a ship that was bound for Hempstead. I hope it was worth it.
This is a bustling crowded town with an incredible market. With trues in your pocket I'm sure anything could be acquired here. Too bad I don't have any...oh well. I'm looking forward to exploring the continent. Maybe I will start tomorrow, after I have secured lodgings at an inn.

Im having some problems wrapping my head around the Deliar summons being shadows. I have looked through all the documentation on Deliar, and cant find any references to shadows or the like.
I find it strange that a good aligned god of trade, family and luck would summon evil undead. Maybe there is some master plan behind this im not seeing, or i missed something?
Some elemental or maybe golem seems to be a better fit in my opinion.
I have now on three seperate occations, on two different servers (west and central) experienced that using the parchment folder resulted in the immediate crash of the server. Two times where i used the folder on a blank parchment (the small note one), and one time using it on myself to access my folder.
Only one of the times were the server slightly laggy before i did it. The other two times, the server was running smoothly.
Character Name: Ahndar Sussail Current Level: 20 Is halfway to level 22 An update on your bio: When Ahndar first came to the small town of Hlint, he didnt have many friends. Just out of the academy, his focus was entirely on his devotion to Lucinda, and as such, the temple at Blackford Castle almost became his new home. Countless hours were spent at the enchanting pool there, as Ahndar saw, and still see, the art of enchanting items with a fragment of his beloved Lady's weave as the ultimate worship of magic. For a long time his enchanting revolved solely on creating healing potions. In his dayly travels through, and around, Hlint Ahndar saw much suffering. Mostly from injuries of combat. In fact, several of his first aquitances outside the church was gained from offering healing potions, and later by spreading Lucinda's magic through spells of protection and healing to adventurers. This was also how Ahndar came to find his first friend. One day while travelling through the Sielwood forest, Ahndar came upon a darkclad rather rough fighter by the name of Derrick. At first, Derrick offered his assistance because he felt he owed Lucinda a favor. He recognized the holy symbol Ahndar wore around his neck. Derrick and Ahndar travelled far and wide together, often in the company of other adventurers. Especially the dark elven wizard Tathnolu often joined them, and the this unlikely group of companions often went exploring, and more often than not got into alot of trouble. To further his advances in enchanting, Ahndar took up both gem crafting and tinkering. To be able to imbue a weapon with the magical properties of the elements, to channel the very strength of Lucinda into the finest of gems. These were means of spreading magic and the word of Lucinda to the common people. And so, Ahndar applied all his effort into this. It was at this time Ahndar agreed to start up a new business with his two friends, the ranger Seteece, and the warrior Brutus. With other people helping in the gathering of materials, this would leave more time for Ahndar to work on his skills. All profits from sales went into this as well, but this never bothered Ahndar. The business evolved over time, and the day came when they all agreed to expand into an official guild. And so The Freelancers were born. The guild is governed by a ruling council of 5 members known as the founders, and Ahndar was elected the official head of the guild. Each of the other 4 other founders are considered among Ahndar's best friends; Seteece, Quillwem, Pathfinder, and Xiao. The Freelancers has prospered and today its numbers include many people. A new grand guild hall is in the process of being erected in Port Hampshire. Today Ahndar is a master craftsman in several areas including enchanting, tinkering, gemcrafting, and smelting. With his dedication to excelling in his crafts, and the continuing paperwork required for the head of a major merchants guild, Ahndar's life has been extremely busy the last years. So busy even, that he feels his ties to the temple are wearing thin. Even though his dedication to Lucinda is as good as ever, he is troubled by this fact, and lately he has been neglecting guild business for visits to Spellgard. ********** Quests ********** Ahndar has been involved in quite alot of quests, both plot quests, and "normal" ones. I will try to list the most important ones here, but im sure i have forgotten a few.
I died before the server went down, and got to my grave and prayed...but before i had a chance to rest the server went down. When i logged back in, i was told i had to reflect 0 more times. I tried resting, but i was told i still needed to reflect...and now it keeps counting down, im at -3 now. Maybe a DM can stop by and swing his wand over me
Character name is Savin Amandil, im standing in Point Harbor.
Ok, so someone (not mentioning names) dragged enemies down to the captain and got him killed...i guess you dont need to worry when you can teleport, huh? But for the rest of us it's not that fun to be stuck there. Can someone please send a new captain to sail the boat..
Savin died in the first drift lands cave after Saudiria. When i returned from raxwell there was no gravestone. He died very close to the wall and some stones on the floor, so it might be hidden inside something. Need a little divine intervention I will hang around there for a while. Thanks.
*From the diary of Savin Amandil*
Today I returned to my childhood home for the first time in 60 years. I was looking forward to seeing my father and brothers, as i have heard little from them in the years. My mother had passed only a few years before i left home, so I was fairly surprised to see my father with a new woman. Though, of course that was only natural. She is a lovely and good hearted woman. But that was not the only surprise in store for me. She and my father had a child...a girl...a sister. Her name was Celes, Celes Amandil, my fathers name. Even though she was only my half sister, she and I was more alike than me and my brothers have ever been. Her interest into the arcane was strong and i took it upon myself to guide her.
Tomorrow we will have our first lesson. I am looking forward to this, i think she shows real promise...
I have found a staff in the broken forest. If anyone thinks it theirs you can send me a letter and we can meet. Of course you must add a description of the staff in the letter, so i know you are the rightful owner.
