A masked brawny man was seen with the company of a partly clad, petite black haired woman in Hempstead.
After a short conversation by the fountain the two headed out to the pond, far from the guards view, but close to the roads for another brief conversation that ended with the man holding his sword up and slicing his own right arm off!
The woman disappeared as quickly as she came, the severed arm safely held in her small pale hands.
The man stumbled back into town, his sole surviving hand holding the bleeding stump.

Well, after months it finally happened, and I can't believe but I'm quite happy! I finally received my first DT in layo! *jumps around excited* The soul mother finally caught up to me! I feel the impending doom so close and the mother just lurking behind the screen with more DT's to give. :p And whats more, Akata informed me last night that I already broke the record, even though I was less than 100,000 Exp from reaching into level 23 with 0 DT's I suppose level 22 is just as good! It happened after Dezza's quest, from all things. I felt like exploring Alindor without any buffs and what do you know, it prove like a silly notion!  Now for the soul mother to read this thread and get y! *throws confetti around*

It was seen this day, Freas, Mar 13 that a wild natured man looking scurried away like a thief from 135 leringard home with a hefty sack filled with bulgy objects and items. Citizens and passing by travelers would confirm that the man dressed in a brown jacket and dark tanned clothing, holding a large sword with bright white light was seen swaying in a drunk way, knocking on doors and causing a bit of chaos. Anyone close would to the hooded clothed figure would also confirm that the man had the loud scent of alcohol and booze coming off him.
Anyone taking a peek before the house was closed shut by an invisible hand would see a messed home; furnitures either broken and smashed on the ground or half missing, most likely stolen by the drunk ranger.

So, I have no idea if this goes here, or in "Ask a Gamemaster" or even in some other forum so if it does, mod's feel free to move.
1. Is there any way to find out the correct numbering of colors for hair/skin/tattoo colors? I know theres a way, I just haven't figured it out.
2. Any free, easy, light softwares that open .tga files quickly? anything beside photoshop or Photosnap please.

First of all, I hope this is the right place for this. If not, then feel free to move it where ever it should be.
I tried to search both lore and forums and the best I could find were discussions about the spell to detect evil/good/chaos/lawful soI thought I ask here.
So I was curious about the paladin's detect evil ability - is it possible to roleplay it if the other party allows you to, or should a paladin realize who's evil or "less good than most"? which I know might be impossible to know without knowing oocly who made an evil character or not.
And one last thing, how is detect evil work? I read some where around here it works as an action, while I was sure its a passive ability and can detect evil harm the paladin if he's still a novice or weak while near a more powerful evil? like a level 3 paladin standing near a demon prince long enough to sense his evilness which would make his head explode before the demon even get the chance.

I've been in this town for the past few weeks now. The back alleys and sideways are becoming more and more known to me by the passing days. This town holds much oddness in it; I've seen wizards casting harmful spells as mere tricks, but a wizard is always the same no matter where - selfish and cruel. No different here. Also seen others with skin as black as mine! It’s...odd...they do not fear of being turned away, or worse - stoned to death by the town folks. I find this puzzling; I will have to investigate it when given time.
I've also met several folks in my first days around. The first would be Roy. He calls himself a ranger and hunter of sorts; he is skilled with the bow and sword, along with the company of forest creatures. Two to be exact - a panther and an oversized brown bear. Still trying to get used to them, as much as one can with wild animals. In any case, I met him near Hilnt's pond, while I was fishing, or trying to fish. He saw it was my first time and so he took the time to teach me the trade. He showed me around the town and outside for fishing sites, and even gave me his shovel to catch baits with for free. The humans here are nice and naive.
I met an elven girl named Nyyana the other day. She seems to be a chef in training. She is quite popular in this land I noticed. She works in a tavern called "the freelancers tavern" as a bartender and as a chef. She was kind enough to teach me the ways of the kitchen and where to find food supplies in nature so I could live off food other than fish and dry rations.
My times in Hilnt grow old, and my training with the sword is progressing well. I've been able to become wiser with each step I take closer to my faith. My time is now divided between cooking and training and trips back and forth to the temple of Toran in Fort Llast. I've been able to use the fishing’s and cooking I learned to offer donation food to the needy that visit the temple.

((Just thought I'd give this a try. I just want to apologize in advance for any mistakes -- gremial or spellings and to any my writings offended. Since this will reflects Vells thoughts about others, and not how they truly are in Layo. If you'd like me to remove your characters from this threat let me know . Also, I'd appreciate any feedbacks if its possible, just so I could know if anyone actually find this enjoyable or just a waste of a thread in the forums. And in that case, I'll let this sink)) Across the inn, sitting in one of the distant tables with a blank parchment rolled open on it. A quill in her hand and a red rose laying carefully near the table's edge, the lady in red began her secret writings; Nothing so far has changed since my arrival, not in my eyes anyway. The streets are filled with fools and freaks that waste their life with emptiness. It's disgusting to see affection and love between different races. How ridiculous it is to see tiefings mixing with humans. Dwarves fondling for gnomes, even drows that bind their hearts with elves. Such abominations, you should be thankful you are not here to see it with your own eyes. And if that isn’t enough, so far the elves I met so far are a joke. I had one; her name was Nyyan, or something along that line (A silly name anyway) follow me around. That elven child had a deformity that made her speak with a stutter, but oddly enough, people accepted her for her "heart". Nonsense.... In any case, that little girl followed me around, apparently she had showed interest into becoming my slave. Who am I to refuse an opportunity to humiliate one of the "immortal" races? I won't admit she wasn’t obedience, for a treehungger. And my legs found her back quite soft as a stool. But alas, I had to dismiss her. Her "love all" way of thinking was getting under my skin. Worse, she tried to let me "see the light" with hugs and other elven .... One slap settled it all. Of course I left before she began to whine and cry, but I should have known she'd go around spreading of how cruel I was. And how I beat her senseless. I've met Rhynn again, a silly wizardess and of course, a friend of the elf child. She tried to threaten me to not lash out on the elf again. Hah...as if I'd listen to an arrogant spell slinger and one that was foolish enough to have her mouth taken by some devil. Can't say I was happy to hear she got it be eventually, shame he didn’t take away the rest of her face too. It would have done her only good. Well, after lurking through the forums, searching the handbook, and searched the LORE for information about drow cities and towns in the underdark with no luck, I was told to check here for anyone that might have info' on the subject.
I'm planing on requesting for a drow character, and for that I need for the story at least 2-3 drow cities/towns, couldn't find any info, help please?
If there is such a post in the forums or the site with this info then I apologize for not searching enough for it.

Well, most probably don't know me. I've been playing on Layo for the last 1-2 weeks as the witch Vellucia Kasha.
I just wanted to make this post to announce(!) to all how I love this server! the role playing, the exciting adventures, the never ending GM's quests fun! and of course, the players!
= )
I also wanted to apologize in advance and in preasent if I insulted or offended anyone Out Of Character.
My character Vell is known to be a depressing insulting woman, and I usualy send a tell to those I offend with a short apologizing message. But in case I forgot anyone I'd just like to say that it wasnt on purpose. I guess I had other things going on and I simply forgot.
But if you really are not having fun just let me know in a tell and I'll find an ICly reason to back away. After all I'm here to have fun with everyone evenly, and I dont want to offend or upset other player's out of game.
Again, I hope Vell isnt an unpleasent annoyance for anyone oocly, I truely believed that she'll be an.."interesting" breaze to the rest of the folks being the bitter gal she is, but if you (( the community)) disagree with me, I'll be more than glad to delete/change her.
Again, I'm not here to destroy other people's fun =)
