Please forgive if this is not the correct place to post this. In trying to come back and play after a long time away I have noticed many changes. Makes it all the more fun to be back. Except that I no longer know where it is safe to go with my characters. I found here on the forums a map of layo but that didn't really help me as far as what i can handle etc. I am still getting used to my character and all that it can and cannot do and have been afraid to venture to far. Any suggestions as to where I can venture to rather safely while i get accustomed again or is there someplace here on the forums I can find that information? Thanks a bunch.

Hello, it has been a longgggggg while since I have played. My baby is not a baby anymore and I have time now. Problem is I cannot remember what i need to do to log on. I can bet i need to download modules/whatever they are called. Where do i start?

I got a new computer, and yes it has vista. I finally figured out how to nwn running by byapssing the shortcut, going into the program as admin and starting that way. Inconvienent but doable. I had layov3 on a disc and downloaded it, plus the new haks but how do I get to layo? There is no layo shortcut or anything. I was not the one who put layo on my other pc so I am not sure what I am missing. Assuming i have everything dowloaded I need, what am i doing wrong?

Hey Folks,
when i went to connect to layo this afternoon nwn prompted me to download new files, I did this and now I cannot connect to layo. It tells me my client and version or some such thing do not match. Any idea what I did?

I want to send out a big thanks to those who took the time to rp with Haggir yesterday. Had a group who one by one gathered and joined to take him to meet the swamp lady. I have rarely had the chance to rp with this character so I definately appreciated the experience and I am so sorry my computer locked up when we got going and I couldn't get back. Just wanted you all to know I appreciated it and I didn't poof out on purpose.

Howdy,
I have a halfgiant, haggir, and for some reason it will not let me equip his greataxe and his shield at the same time. I can equip a sword and shield but not the greataxe. I asked a gm in game to make sure that i should be able to and was told that a half giant should be able to. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Ok I just had a character approved and when I was creating him I seriously messed up the stats. Ended up with as follows:
strength- 23,6
dex- 10,0
charisma-4
con-18,4
int-4
wis-10
I am missing some but cant get them becasue i get booted for having bad numbers before I can get all the current stats. I am basically brain dead for this stuff. I know I can only have 2 under 10 and only one that is a 6. I thought I had it set up but when i logged on the numbers were different so I am not sure what I did or how to fix it. I appologize if this should be in a different forum, please feel free to bump me where I need to be.

Need a bit of help, Aiek is stuck in the door of the smithy in Port Hempstead. I have logged in and out a few times trying to move her but no luck. I somehow actually was on the otherside of the wall and walked through it into the doorway transition area somehow. If someone could move myself out of there I would appreciate it.

Just got back from seeing Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. Have to say, very very good. Go see it. People laughed, and at one point it got real quiet in the theater (not giving things away) and then you could hear crying from some viewers. Was a good flick, like all the HP movies so may be biased but thought this one was really really good.

I have asked tailors and other crafters and no one can give me a price for lion leathers. I know the going rate for say lion bags or lion armor but have no idea what to offer for lion leathers, any suggestions?

I have looked around on here, especially in the trade forums, and I cannot figure out how to price something I want to sell or purchase from another player. I know about the pricing lens but that doesn't always help. For example if I wanted to sell a box of aloe is there a particular going rate? or lion leathers? spider silk? I know for some of these things you can post and people make offers but what happens when you cant seem to find out how much something is going for? Is there somewhere else on here to look? I am asking because I Have been hmmm scolded shall we say, for selling things to cheap. I have also had some folks send me tells, nicely, saying I am selling to cheap and that one can get in trouble for that. Any input would be appreciated.

Not a complaint just a whats up here. Now I am notorious for killing oxen. Or having mine get killed by folks who run away from spawns and bring them into areas I am at with my ox that is usually safe. Well today I was walking from hempstead to Hlint and I stopped in Wayfare to visit Kit and then went through the Hallowlight Forest and took a side turn into Krandor for rice. Now when I left Krandor my ox was still with me. Upon getting into the next transition I truely do not know if the ox was still there. In the next transition I noticed it was gone. First thought was ok maybe it really wasn't with me and i was just confused so i scrolled back on the left box and the last thing there was 'lead the ox' so it was with me. Then i thought well could it have died and I just didnt notice it being killed? So I scrolled back on the left side, all the way back to when i was in Hempstead and nothing. So i go to the oxen seller dude after backtracking and not finding anything and he offers to sell me an ox so i know mine is dead. but where is it? I mean it just poofed. There wasnt much on it but glass and though it was frustrating to lose all the time i put into making it, wasnt really that big deal i just wondered where oh where did my oxen go???
