General Discussion / Dead NWN :(

During Pheonix's quest last night my NWN crashed... and didnt work again!
 
Steps taken so far:Uninstalled NWN, Ccleaned, Reinstalled NWN completely, redownloaded overrides and patched the game!

But I still cant get it to work, is there a technique for manual uninstalling NWN..? (Ccleaner will have taken care of the registry keys)? It crashes on startup to desktop and strangely enough there is not the normal 'NWN has stopped responding/encountered an error' blurb I normally get after a crash...

Of the places yet to be set into the LORE section; which are of magical historical interest?

I assume from the maps that Spellgard (going by the name entirely) might have some connection to powerfull mages or articifiers!

Any clues would be helpfull! I have a cunning plan captain blackadder

Didnt know whether to mark this as a bug or not; here goes!

Im missing some textures on various parts of character anatomy. It varies person to person but Im always missing Khalith's pants (crotch section). With Pallena it was the breast region and with people in studded leather it is the 'skirt' section. Im not sure why this is happening just that it is annoying

Im thinking either NWN did a crappy install and it screwed things or im missing some additional textures for layonara?!

Ive searched the threads and found lots of people talking like pirates but few actually talking 'about' pirates!

So just a quick question (well two actually); Are there lots of pirates in and around the waters of Mistone? Are they evil-humans or any sea fairing race inclined towards piracy?

When it says the stat adjustment is applied in game for subraces is it like a modified stat or a base stat adjustment?

Because I was wondering before I commit myself to a wizard will the +2 intelligence bonus actually grant extra skill point like a base stat or will the adjustment be applied like a magical item (i.e. a modified stat)?

New to layonara as ive been playing on NWN2 PW's for the past year and only now realise how much better the original game is with all its fan made content!

havnt applied for a character on the server yet though, the wemic race looks pretty good from a RP point of view (and the fact that your going to get hit eventually, making hit points all the more vital)
