I'm glad to see that there will be a DVD version as wel. much easier with the instalation. Right now I'm wondereing if we can play NWN2 without having a cd or DVD in the drive. Geuss I have to wait for that anwser untill the game hits the stores.

isn't that just one of the places an ISO of the disk and DAEMON Tools (or other such SW) makes wonders? I'm sure glad I don't have to listen to it spin up and down all the time here with NWN(1)... 8)

CNR Suggestions/Discussion / RE: Gloves of fury
« on: April 20, 2006, 09:44:41 am »
This seems to be a direct follow to the other Exceptionaæ item discussion, so I'll just say it here.

I'm all for the idea of making seperate recipies like the Archer's Belt. Because there really isn't much point in making a 100 of something just to see if you could get lucky and make the exceptional one. It's a bit like mining JUST to try and find mystery mineral that turns out to be an emerald (or what ever the really hard to come by is called), and then just dump all the lumps of "whatever". The only difference is that the Gloves are known how to make - so why not just make a recipy and remove the luck factor.

Now what the recipy should contain and how hard it should be I'll leave to others...

NOTE:
This was in no way ment as those gems should not be found in that manner. Just there for the example - however lousy it might be  ;)

That's not far off what we have to pay in Denmark, so all things considered - higher incomes and way higher taxes/living costs, I think we just have to get used to it. We europeans may just have had a longer time to get used to the high prices...

I love the RP with PIG .. and yeah! he is the only one who won't get his head chopped for calling her Isilme!  PIG's style is simple and effective.  Let's face it . you know OOC about Moonlight, but PIG does not and you play him that way and I value that.

Just before you PK or get real annoyed with anyone but Pig calling you Islime, you have introduced yourself to others but it. At least Surdy has been introduced by that name, he has never heard you use Moonlight when asked. And yes he has asked, thought it is some time ago....

Development Journals and Discussion / Skills improving
« on: February 01, 2006, 01:18:31 pm »
How nice it is to be able to say that my skills are improving.

I have done a lot of training lately, and I have now mastered quite a few new skills. I've now made my first potions, baked my first bread just to mention a few none Willow related skills. But my Willow skills have also improved, my right hook has also improved greatly. The motion needed gets more and more natural and I really get the shoulder into the strike now, which the opponents can feel I dare say.

During my extensive travels with other dwarfes, it has becomes very evident that I have very little accent. It must be because of all the different races that are representated in the Wandering Willow.

I'm still a long way from being good enough to take an apprentice, and even further from having the funds to set up a Willow Garden. But I do feel the calm when I visit Willow Gardens when I'm travelling. I have made quite a few visits to especially the one in Ravens Watch. Like the training in the cold and fresh snow. Think there's something mesmerizing about the crunch of snow in an otherwise quite enviroment.

Development Journals and Discussion / Cause of death
« on: January 12, 2006, 09:17:00 am »
I was up in Grey Peaks with a rather large group. All was going well and had just begun our return. Then everything crumpled, people started dying left and right, and I fell too. That was not the bad part though, for I learned from it. When all had gotten out of the mountains Azak, Garnet - who by the way is a monk for Vorax - and one more (Amareth something) decided to help me get to my grave so I could put my soul at ease. And now comes the bad part, because of that Azak fell - so who can I blame but myself for not insisting that should spend the time my soul was upset to contemplate and truely take time to understand then and there why it had happened.

This is why I'm not a monk yet

Luckily Azak met a friend that helped him get back to his grave by turning him invisible for a while. After we returned I took the time to train and think on my own, which I should have done earlier and thereby not causing Azak to be slain.

General Discussion / RE: Happy Birthday to both Steverimmer and Andrios

yes happy birthaday to the both of you :)

Though I have once been told that when people reach a certain age you stop congratulating them and say, "Well, sorry that another year has passed" and then one can always add something like ".. but you still look great" or something if one feels the need to give a little comfort.

Well now you just choose which remark you like and apply that to you  ;)
