Well.... I tried It after work and I finally got the "Download complete: OK " button to appear!
It had completed downloading the Nsync updates... but once complete it stuck at 0% and wouldn't provide the "OK" button so that I could re-login. Multiple reloads and a full re-installment didn't help.
The latest Nsync update seems to crash me.
It states it needs to download 0MB and I have no option but for it to try to download, at which point any download attempt freezes and the game crashes.
I've fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as having deleted all backup files including the Nysync updates, so basically a fresh start... but it still crashes.
Anyone else having the same issue?

Khar Sahn purchased:
Iron Battle Axe ( with 2 electrical damage) - Item has 25% discount
Cost of Axe 2000 + Cost of Elemental 2000 = 4000 -25% =3000 deposited in chest

A shame it has to end. Not that I played during the event, but even looking at server status on the forums,it was a surprise to see so many people online when compared to the rest of the year.
If leaving it on maintains that amount of activity, that can't be bad.
Yes, it does mean that. He'd actually be able to cast 5th level Spells... maybe more.
However, upon leveling... you do not get to choose any spells.
So if your entering a new circle of spells... ie 4th Level Spells... you will not learn any new spells. You can only use spells you have discovered/learned along the way.
The Improved SpellCasting also means.. for example... it will class the SpellSword level as an additional Wizard level.
So a Level 5 Wizard/ Level 1 SpellSword will be casting as a Level 6 Wizard. This effects the likes of most damage spells ( Fireball ..etc ) and Stoneskin/ Greater Magic Weapon... etc...etc

Still only showing 3 jobs at pawnbrokers, the same 3 mithril required ones. I can't ever recall there being six, but that would certainly be nice. Six jobs available and a reduced expiration time would certainly remove the need to delete all mithril and emerald from the crafting lists. ( as I can imagine would be tedious as hell! )
Were the other characters found in Orths databse? ( Marlon55 and Charm )
Or do the same Corruption options apply for these characters? ( ie. create a different character with same xp / create same character with xp and items. )
After a quick check, Maran does have his crafting levels attached to his character. I'm not concerned about losing his gold or bank vault, I don't remember what was in it so it can't have been that important.
Xp for either characters would be great! Thanks!
Can I get either of my three characters back?
Kagen's character is already attached to the database, he has crafting levels and banks, he just needs xp and a few items.
Maran is not attached to database, so I understand he will take time to restore.
Marlon55 / Leon is apparently in a weekly backup and needs restoring.
Thanks for the reply Orth,
I'll mull over what is easiest to do with my characters, but a question on crafting levels.
Are these stored also on the DB or would crafting levels be lost? If they are lost are they returnable? ( One char was highest level enchanter / gem crafter )
A rather colourful character with mud spattered robes walks through the opening gates of Fort Vehl with an air of importance. An air which is immediately turned to disgust and dissapointment as he views the hollow dive that is Fort Vehl. With an exasperated sigh, he settles on the rim of an old fountain, its waters green and slimy from lack of care and attention, and pull a large spell book from his pack. Not even a quarter of it seems to be written in, but he flicks to the back pages, where a myriad of notes and comments have been scribed in no particular order.
" Boris Shiel" he murmurs a few times, lost in thought.
He stays awhile, sat on the edge of the fountain, watching in fascination as a rather large individual struggles with a bag that is quiet clearly, too full.
