Well things have been pretty busy since I got started on the adventuring life. At first I found it hard to find people like myself who wanted to adventure but I've caught up with a few now to travel with. I quickly learned that to adventurer its safer with friends or allies.

I've travelled to some places with a man named Max, he is very nice and he really looked after me when I was in trouble. Also there was an woman called Ele who I later found out was a sea elf, because of her bluish skin. She was really nice too but she didnt speak a lot of common so it was hard at times to communicate with her. What I liked the most about her was her magic and i got her to show me a few tricks. She even gave me some old scrolls she had. I learnt a couple of them and with more study I think I'll work out the rest as well.

At first it was hard to use magic and to fight but since I don't use a shield all I have to do is remember to remove my light armour, cast my spells, then put it back on again to fight. I got used to it pretty quick but sometimes I do forget to change. It happens more when I travel with Zan, he's surly and quiet and I think not the sort of person I'd usually choose to travel with and he doesnt like to wait sometimes. Then i get stuck fighting in clothing with only magic for protection. Still, I've learnt a lot travelling with him and for now that works. I'd like to be able to not have to change my armour and I've been told there are people who can do that, special mages who can fight and cast in armour. I want to be like them so now I just have to find out how.
