I'm not going to have a lot to add to this conversation just because writing it all would take entirely too much time, of which I have literally zero. However I do check in the forums every once in a while and it's nice to see people that I saw join the server back when it was like me and 15 other people are still around.
One of my fondest memories of playing here was the feeling in my gut I felt when me and some others were in a high level dungeon and someone checked the server status and said..
"Leanthar is on."

Yea he permed out on one of my quests going full on into a group of death slaadi who auto-cast FoD on sight...
But hey, you don't get to 9/10 SS by thinking stuff through. lol.

I never said you couldn't cheat. I encourage cheating if the results are good.
A hint that might be more obscure than the reference, after this quote turn-outs for my quests got a little thin for a while.

The reflex check is horribly high and with 32 Dex and a level 15 Fight/Rogue I still failed about 25% of the time.

Ohio is awesome. Everyone is nicer, and I'm spending about 50-60% to live just like I did in Massachusetts.
It's pretty laid back, which I'm enjoying, until people get into a car. So I'm fitting in just fine. Beer is almost half price, but booze costs about 30% more. So meh, whatever.
It's pretty amazing what 800 miles can change.
Any other Ohio Layo players out there?

So two days until the big move. I'm not excited about the drive, but I am excited to get out of stabsville and into a nice, quiet, semi-rural community with access to the assets a city provides.
Almost everything is packed, and because all of our furniture was ruined by too many parties, we're lucky enough to be taking all of about 22 boxes with us. Boxes which will be distributed between two cars while still having room for my guitar, our tv, and a carrier with two cats in it.
I'd hate to be a cat come Friday morning.

I am wondering if the weapon focus, weapon specialisation, improved critical and the others that follow that one, are working with those two weapons.
I don't see them as part of the custom list, but I was told in tell that they are exotic so they might not work with those feats. Those are bioware standard weapons, so they should work fine.

Not nice if somebody perms on your quest. Not nice doesn't sum up being responsible, in some kind of way, (you could of used that deathward, gotak), for the first permed character of layonara.

Hellblazer it might be that at higher levels you come across critters that are hitting you for bigger damage amounts. This means fewer close encounters of the bleeding to death kind and more of the you're really dead kind... What she is saying is there's a greater chance that you're not going to be in the low negative hp when you're killed due to the damage dealt by higher level creatures.
