Night's Eye, Spring Rain 10, 1478
I have made it to the town Center and I am still unsure of how I am going to get back to the Deep and I have been unable to discover any clues to what happened during the ambush but, I will not give up my goal for revenge. I just need to look harder.
My first couple of days in town,, weren't really in town but, in the woods just outside the town observing the comings and going of the surface dwellers. The town has high traffic of adventurers and merchants and i'm unwilling to make my way into town at least while the damnable burning orb is in the sky.
Dead Eye, Spring Rain 11, 1478
Today I made my first appearance in town it seems most are used to people hiding their face either that they don't ask too many questions. I went into their merchant hall and purchased some new armor and weapon. Crude at best but, as I am not at my home this will have to do for the time being.
Dream Dance, Spring Rain 12, 1478
I made contact today with two of my kin.. which at first I didn't know who or how to take them.. I was pulled into the crypts and their they began with their demands. They must take me for a fool but, I was not about to lower my guard for them even if I knew with ease they could kill me I wasn't going to show my weakness.
The female demanded I show her my fighting prowess and I must say I was not at my best but, With two of them at my back and their intention unknown to me I was always waiting for an attack which made me lose my focus on the undead and bugs in that roamed the crypts.
They called it my audition but, to me it felt more of a trial and if I failed to meet their expectations I would not come out the crypt alive.
As I fought off the undead and the insects it seemed the female got bored and left me with the male. He said also he followed the Spider Lord. .I didn't say much I was not going to betray myself to him as I have just met him and his female companion..
I finished it the audition and we made our way back out to the surface and male finally told me his name, Ni'haer council member of Eight Eyes. At first I was shocked to know that one of the eight was up on the surface.. my face must have shown what I was thinking as he told me he is up here to report back to the Deep the dealings of the surface dwellers.
He walked away saying that my trials were not over and I would be tested again to see if I had what it took but, he promised me if I survived that there is limitless power to have..
For now I will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings. .

Last night while playing my power supply decided to put on a light show for me and has resulted in my computer to not function. I'm on my brother in-laws laptop but, that will be gone by Sunday.  At this point I assume it is just my power supply but, won't know fully until I purchase a new one. With alll that said am not certain when I will be back due to Christmas and bills etc etc. Am hoping for two weeks at best but, time and damage will tell. My apolgizes to the people I was RP'ing with at the time all this happened.

In Vale the the statue that list deity relationships has Mist allied with Katia and LORE and the Pantheon section on the forums states that Katia is unfriendly with Mist. Also I know that Mist has Katia listed as an enemy.
Might be a good idea to check the other temple to make sure they are not the same.

Therefore I charge all that are loyal to Mist, The Leringard Arms Inn and Tavern, as well as to Leringard itself to help supplies materials.
We will need many materials and those with strong backs that won't quit and will see the job done.

Ophelia sits on her bed in a meager inn room at the Scamp's Mug. A journal on her lap and a quill in her mouth pondering her last couple of days traveling on a ship from Leningrad to Port Hempstead. Her eyes flash suddenly as she pulls out the quill and dabs it in the ink jar sitting beside her.

[SIZE=13] I'm back at the place of my birth after a fun trek here on a ship from Leningrad. The captain was a nice fella to let me join his crew for the trip to Hempstead. He even let me up on the crows nest, steer the boat- but took it a way rather quickly when he saw I was steering into to reefs! He has no sense of fun! Anyway.. Mostly other then those two things all I did was sit on the poop deck praying to Mist to keep the wind in our sails and maybe for a safe but fun trip! Sadly though the only storm we came close to was miles away on the starboard side on the morning of our second day. It was a beautiful thing to behold from a distance, still I wished it would come to us and test the crews mettle. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=13] Still an uneventful and safe trip to the docks. The captain even gave me some trues to stock up on supplies. I think he loves me.. because I really didn't do anything that special. But he most know I have hidden talents! [/SIZE]

Tobias and Emillia walk into a room at the Scamp's Mug in Port Hempstead. Both look completely exhausted but wear small smiles on their faces as the set their possessions down. Tobias flings off his sack and lets it drop tot he floor with a loud thud as Emillia quietly puts her things in the corner, brushing fallen bits of hair out of her face and sits quietly on the bed glancing back at Tobias. He still fumbles around with his gear but finally gives up and scoffs his hand at it as he turns around glancing at her a briefly as he whips his hair back. She sitll sits watching him with a warm smile as her eyes fade closed and back open every so slightly.
He puts his hands on his hips and turns toward Emilla. "Well, its not much, but I am sure it will so you can get some sleep. You know you gave me quite the sacre back there.. I can't lose not now.. Together we have come so far.. It be a shame to fall victim now.." He walks nimble over to the bed and sits next to his sister, wraping one arm around her as he places his head on her shoulder. "Not when we just found each other and I have yet to prove myself to you that I am not like our father."
She sighs alittle and starts to speak, but Tobias cuts her off. "I will do better. I promise you that.. Now that Connor knows how to surpress it, we can fight back.. Maybe with help from him we can supress the calls on our own." He leans back and lays across the bed giving a deep sigh." I am so use to fighting problems with my blade other then trying to think through these.. It use to be kill or be killed. But, not know.. There is more people to worry about and I keep forgeting them.... and you? Why is that? Is there something wrong with me.. Where I can't put others before myself?" Tobias slams his fist on the bed gritting his teeth.
Emillia frowns slightly placing her hand on his, but still not saying a word, just holds his hand comforting him.
Tobias turns over on his side looking at his sister. "There is something more then we can do then just wait for others to solve our problems.. I.. I need to do more.." He sighs heavly as he lays back over the bed.
Emillia too lays down next to her brother and does nto speak a word her eyes fall heavy one last time and remain closed for the remainder of the night.
Still Tobias lays awake his eyes staring up far past the ceiling. Thinking..

[SIZE=13] A hooded figure stands outisde on the deck of a ship 300 yards from the port of Mariners' Hold. A fierce storm has come from the east and the strong winds and high waves attack the scores of ships in the harbor forcing them to crash into each other, but not this boat... It sits alone swaying back and forth against the high seas and tenacious winds. There the figure stands looking out towad the city as lightning cracks across the sky highligting his face. His slendor features and tan skin beaded by the pounding rain, his mouth set apart showing gritted teeth. Still the figure still stands opposing this tempest staring out at tha Harbor. He walks closer to the railing placing one hand clenched across it as the other grasps a rope, there he stands and watches. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=13] "What have you done my father?" the figure finally speaks as the wind whips back his hood. Still Tobias stands staring out at the port city with cold piercing eyes and his teeth in a snarl. "What haver you done!?" He screams out to the gale.. "What has your greed cost all of us!" Now his voice hardly a whisper.. "As you clutch to your voracity for fame, I live in remorse that you are my father. Your life is over, but still you will not be forgotten, again I live in your shadow, your curse..." Tobias scowls out to the city and roars. " I will not be like you!! I will not destroy others lives just so my life would be lived in gain! I am not like you!! I am not like you!" Still he stands weathering the storm and all its fury as another lightning strike lights the sky. His voice weak, the tears that run down his cheek hidden by the volley of raindrops pounding against his visage." I will endure you, I will endure your curse.. I will be the one to put you back in your grave and end you.." [/SIZE]

[SIZE=13] Tobias turns his back to the storm and walks across the deck of the ship to the captains quarters. his steps quick and balanced even as the ship rocks in the high seas. Knowing what he must do and he will use his anger to fufill this one goal. He walks in and tells the captain to tell his crew to return to Port Hempstead in all haste. [/SIZE]

Sorry it has been so long since I have written, but shades are getting stronger by the day.. I have saught out mages and most are unwilling to help and even express fear when coming close to this token. I Have been speaking with a half-elf bard by the name of AnnaLee and even though she is fearful of the coin she has greed to help and has even asked me to seek out one of her firends byt the name of Storold, a mage and paladin of Lucinda, who should be able to tell us how to destroy these token and free us from this curse.
Something else happened last night though that I thought I tell you about. Last night after coming back from a wonderful date with a young lady by the name of Melissa (more detail to follow on her, I promise!) AnnaLee and another mage tracked me down curious about the coins power. His name is Connor and he seems to be well adept to handle the task of destroying the coins. But, As he was examining it, they said the air around them became cold and said the coin was "awake", which I must admit freaked me out some, but it was nothing that happened next. Some creature fromed from thin air and started dancing around. It said I was no where closer to ridding myself of the coin and that is all he said and then after a few more taunts and growling. Something else happened though and I think it is important. Out of frustration I threw the coin at it and it burned him? I don't know why it couldn't touch it or why it burned him but I thnk it is important.
I was also curious to know in what ways have you tried to destroy the token or if you have made any attempts? Lee said that maybe a powerful cleric could purifiy the token or maybe even banish it back to the hells where it seems to have come from. Oh, minor note... Lee and I think Connor confirmed it, the medallions have parts of a pit dweller or fiend bound to the coin and the coins eat at us slowly.
Still I I thnk we are closer to ridding ourselves of these coins, but only time can truly tell. .
Now! For something more pleasent! I met this girl by the name of Melissa and I think , just think.. she could be the one. I mean I feel that for the first time I can be myself around her and not put on a show. But, I am that she will leave me and I know I should not worry about that and enjoy the time I have with her. She is dear to me and I want her to be with me for a long time. Heh, kinda funny readign these words that I thought I never said let alone writer down and they don't even make sense.. This is something new to me and I need to take it slow and see, but I think I am falling and I am hoping it doesn't hurt when I finally reach the ground..
I took her on a tour of Alindor for the last couple of days showing her the lanscape and getting her familar with the path to Karthairen. We had a great time and I learned more about her and her me. Still it seems too good to be true? Should I be worried or just accept the gift that has come to me and let the gods decide the outcome? Who knows.. I am just glad we found each other for now..
I think that is all for now, heh sorry if this letter is confusing our it jumps around alot. Wring to someone, well, its kinda new to me.

Tomorrow I will be out of town on vacation until next the following Friday. Also I have been iexpereinceing performance issues while playing nwn and other games for about three weeks now and has been the main reason I have not been on since its kinda annoying playing while playing wwith choppy game play. I have recently found out what has been causing my performance issue while playing nwn or any other game for that matter. A nice burn mark on my motherboard that wasn't there before. No Idea how it got there and why it only effects my computer while playing games. (think its the wife gods getting back at me) Depending on if ECS (motherboard manufactuer) will honor their warranty I should be back in about two weeks, but it might be longer if they dont' and I have to buy a new one, which is the route I might take since I rather not go through this again with the same mother board. Until that time I will be on the forums and might risk playing some, jus tnot for too long.  Also thank you to Filatus and Nyralotep for their input and help. Tobias

I was curious who would I talk to to be able to verify the amoutn of ingots, trues, and wood gathered so that I can either trash them.
Or would it be better just to donate it all to the temple of Beryl? That way I have in game receipts of what has been gathered?
Any thoughts or suggestions?
