*A finely scribed notice is hung on an elegantly made scroll of mahogany* To the friends of Stone and Allies of the Deep Mother. Today I call upon your aid in rebuilding the town most of us fought so valiantly to defend and turned the tide against Blood and his generals. Now is a time again where we are face with opposition, a rising storm if you will. The skies are blackened by the destruction of Bloodstone and the uncertainty of what Milara is planning. Let us now turn and face the storm that grows ever present and show that we will not back down. We will rebuild. Stone will be the crown of our accomplishment going forward to make Alindor a stronger and safer place for all of us to live. Even with new followers of Her Perfection rising to the surface, we cannot do this alone. Everyone can play a part in what happens in Stone and Alindor. We will need many crafters, gatherers, and workers in order to do this. Please help support this cause not just for the Sverfneblin and Beryl, but for Alindor. ********** The church of Beryl, currently working with The Freelancer Tavern and The Leringard Inn & Tavern will accept any support offered in this time of need. This is a time of building foundations and relationships. This is a time of creating alliances which will help us further our goal. Whispers resonate through the church of Beryl that speak of a new beginning. Its been rumored through Lan's Port that in the past months several deep gnomes and an elf were seen heading towards Alindors outskirts to the barren lands of what used to be the town of Stone. The surveyors wore robes of the Deep Mother that were apparently significant of prestige within the churches clergy. Many suspect that they were Emerald

With all this posts about what people don't like about the server I think it maybe time for something different. A big o'THANK YOU to Leanthar and the GM, Character Approver's, LORE Staff, Website Administrators, Project Team, Writers, ED, Dorganoth (sorry if I misspelled your name.) Orth, Pankoki, and everyone that plays here. thats right everyone.  You all do so much in sacrificing your time with your friends, family, work (which we know is the hardiest) and not to mention the money that comes out of Leanthars pocket and the people that donate to this server. I know there are things people don't like on this server but I guess you really need to ask yourself do the bad things outnumber the good things? With the the post I have been reading as of late I say that is a big "fat" no and is why we keep playing or why some of us keep "come back". So with all this debating about what they don't like about Layonara and which it is good to hear "sometimes". I thought I just say Thanks! to everyone (players included) that have contributed to making Layonara what it is. *steps off his soap box and wipes his nose*

Due to wars resulting in poverty, many children have been left homeless fighting each day to survive in this world. As Freelancers and as people of this great community we have set our sights in building an Orphanage to the underprivileged and the homeless, most of whom resided in Karthy. Still there are more who do not have warm beds or the resources to have a proper education or to learn a trade.[/SIZE][/i][/SIZE] [SIZE=18]With the help of AnnaLee, Nyyana and others we have supported the needs of over 170 children. Now though we ask for the help of the community. Too many times have we seen the rich get richer and the poor suffer. Now we ask for you to give back and help support the world and the community. Quill sits along the cliff overlooking Corax Lake as the wind whips his hair to the east. He stares across tha lake watching the wind push wrinkles onto the once still water. He sighs lightly looking up the sky as he reflects apon the last year. "So much has changed and so much left to be changed." *he smirks to himself slightly as he pulls an uncut emerald from his pocket and twirls it in his finger and closes his eyes* "I wonder where you are now my shadow?" he whispers lightlyto the wind. "I could use your help now. I don't know what I am to do. I know what I must do but is it the right choice?" *heclutches the emeralds tightly before placing it back in his bag. I see those dwarvespatroling the city and my blood burns to know that they do not belong there. They taken something that was never theirs, something that was a symbol to the people ofDregar andturned it into somthing to rebuke. It sickens me walking by the statue of their leader, his coy face mocking all of the citizens of the once proud city."
Quill gazes out over the lake letting the wind rush against is body why searching with in for answers. "I want a peaceful life for us but I know now that I can never give that to you. I cannot, my heart will not allow for the those that call out for aid to go unheard." He pauses, running his hand through his hair. " You would probably tell me it is foolish for me to think of others that don't give a damn about me. But I still think about them, about their hardships and I want to take that away. I want to heal their wounds. I want to heal the world."Dark rain clouds begin to a hover over the lake casting darker shadows upon the already grayed landscape.
He sighs heavly watching the shadows creep across the lake."I don't think I will ever be the elf for you my shadow and for thatI am sorry, I am sorry for the words I can never seem to find when you are around. I am sorry for not being brave enough to take your hand. I am sorry for not being able to be where ever you are. And I am sorry for these things I will never tell you." He wipes a single tear from his eye as the clouds begin to release the rain. He whispers a small prayer and vanishes. "I am sorry for being weak.."

The Freelancers Tavern will be closed due a robbery that has left us with out our stock to supply people with drinks. We will be opened again next Wedlar.

Just got back today.. Some stupid issues with a new mother board and a dual processor.. Aggravating story.. Anyway very happy to be back. the last two weeks have felt like an eternity lol.

Just going to upgrade my computer. New mother board, processor and ram. Everything is compatible, Just my friend needs to find time to do it. So I will be gone until it is done and run a couple of test and make sure I am not going to burn/fry anything. But might be gone for a couple of days But if worst case scenario, if everything frys, I will begone for a bit longer. Just wanted to post this out here soyou guys don't think I jumped shipped. *A lone man stands before a few fellows of his clergy. His posture is straight and proud. His eyes gazing fiercely around, showing the passion of his conviction. He speaks in a clear, ringing out with a slight musical lilt of his Elvish heritage.* My brothers and sisters of The Deep Mother, I know these past weeks and years have been cruel and arduous. We were delt a great blow in losing Stone. Now Diamond Everglimmer has been taken. The deaths of Emerald Perfect Facet and Emerald Dloc Enchan rocked our foundation further still. There may be more that follow them. *He lowers his head for a moment, and considers his words carefully before he continues. As he raises his head he looks over the gathered with compassion and sympathy in his eyes.* We live by a code that tells us to hide when our enemies attack us but now they attack us at our core. *His eyes narrow slightly* There is nowhere to run, nowhere seek sanctuary. *He spreads his hands apart and looks to each of them* What will we do now? In the past we have scattered like that of gem dust blown in the wind and it has served us well. It not this time. *He pauses and shakes his head slightly* Now we must stand united ready to show our luster. This is our Goddess, our beliefs, and our home that they threaten. *Narrows his eyes once more* We must show them that we will not give in as we have done in recent times. Our faith chisels us, polishes our souls. We will stand as the cornerstones of Beryl with that Faith! *His hard expression softens and he smiles at them. Hope and love for Beryl fills his inner being as he recalls his recent experiences. He knows what must be done.* Today, my friends... Today, my brothers and sisters of the heart we start a new trend. Today we fight for our right to exist in peace and give honor to Her Perfection by displaying all the colors that the deep earth holds. *He smiles, letting all of his love and devotion come forth in his eyes. He spreads his arms wide as if to gather forth each of his fellows in unity. His voice rings out with determination* Let it echo through the deep caves of the underdark that we will no longer sit idly by! We will no longer let wars and battles separate us! Let it be known that today we are united! Never again will we scatter and abandon! *He waits quietly for the voices raised with his to subside. He smiles gently once more* To our allies, I call out for your aid in these dark times. The Deep Gnomes and Beryl need your help. * The spark in his eyes turns sad but still hopeful* You all were there for us when Stone fell. I ask you to be with us now again in our time of need. *He nods a little as he continues* I know these are trying times for all us. Even after the defeat of Blood, *he narrows his eyes* he left his one last mark by darkening our skies, precipitating the reign of anarchy that has swept over much of the land. *His voice rises and he shakes his head.* Now our enemies have begun to attack us at our core? If we are to succeed in pushing back the enemy we will need your support, and you ours. I know within my heart that if we stand, united, against this force we can stop it. We can reshape our lives. Make a new facet for the Deep Gnomes and Her Perfection. *He smiles and gazes around him.* Join with me now and let this be the first step in restoring glory to all the lands of Layonara! *He pauses and his expression falls dark. His determination never more evident than now. He narrows his eyes and looks past those gathered into the unknown before him. His voice becomes dangerously cold, the melody of it sending shivers to any who can hear him speak.* I have a message to those that take advantage in these times of troubles. Know that we will never give up hope for a peaceful world. Your efforts to stop that and to take advantage in these times has not gone unnoticed. We know you. Your trickery has been revealed. We will track you down. We will end your reign of terror. Baearon Ca'Duz and your followers, your recent actions and murders are known and your plans foiled. Your hopes to separate us have failed. What you have created is a bond with the good nations and races of these lands and you have drawn out the inner beauty housed within us all. Let it be known that whenever you lift your ugly head we will stand together and stomp you like the creeping spider you are. *He balls his fist in carefully controlled anger.* You play in the darkness that you think you understand. Be prepared to be lost in the darkness you have created. *He raises his voice once again.* We demand immediate release of the Diamond Everglimmer! We demand immediate release of Emerald Perfect Facet! We demand immediate release of Emerald Dloc Enchan! I promise you, I will not rest until they are safe back in their homes and with their people. *His balled fist of his right hand rises into the air and he calls out loudly* Your crimes will not go unpunished! *He holds his hand in the air looking at it at first in determination and then in wonder. We are no longer passive. You have pushed us too far this time. No more will you rule us with fear. Beryl... *He smiles in almost a daze watching his hand slide down out of the air* Beryl heard my call. She hears the call of her faithful. She has faith in us. I have faith in us. *The calls of his brethren finally sink in past his wonderment. He smiles at them and steps in embracing each.*
