The Dragon Storm Campaign / Fort Hilm
« on: April 15, 2011, 09:05:21 am »
A week and three days after the Cult entered Nesar, and surrounded Fort of Last Hope Sir Lance and Lady Danielle return from a meeting in Fort of Last Hope to dire news.

Together they enter the war room in Fort Hilm were Lord Alexander sits in a large chair, ashen faced. The general mood of those present is one of foreboding and fear.

"Lord Alexander, whats wrong? What has happened?" Lance says as he and Daniella approach him.

He looks up at them both with tired eyes. "Molvaren's army has crossed into Hilm and is heading this way. Our advance scouts that survived to bring us intell tell us that he has at least 25 divisions of Drachs, four of Myr'drachs as well as a dozen general soldier infantry. Thats almost thirty thousand soldiers. Not to mention the fact that several dragons have been seen with the force as well. We have about a week before they begin to engage our outermost legions."

Lance and Daniella look at each other, a sinking feeling in their guts. Lord Alexander speaks again.

"There's also another ten to twelve thousand marching from Briardusk. We're expecting them to cut off all access to the south of Hilm within the week and to engage the southern legions in the same time." He pauses for a moment as his words drift off, he looks sick with despair. Almost desperately he looks up at both of them. Please tell me there's some hope...some...somewhere, somehow. That all we've done to prepare for this moment is not for naught..."

Lance and Daniella glance at each other helplessly for a moment before Daniella firms and speaks. "There is always hope My Lord, even if it is but a glimmer. The smallest light can become the greatest flame when it is fanned."

Tears appear on Lord Alexanders cheeks causing both Daniella and Lance to feel slightly uncomfortable at the usually strong mans sudden emotion. He sighs deeply and brushes his face with the back of the embroidered sleeve of his jacket. "Toran help us, or we are doomed."

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Fort of Last Hope
« on: April 11, 2011, 08:43:23 pm »
And as the Cult arranges themselves for battle in Fort Miritrix, and the leading elements of the large Cult force approaching Nesar engage and smash the front ranks of the Nesar armies in Nith another larger army approaches south and west of Fort of Last Hope.

Overhead in the early hours of the morning a massive Red Dragon is seen circling lazily over the Fort high above as the Cult forces begin to make their approach. By Midday the Dragon descends content merely to destroy and burn everyliving thing and every structure lying between the Forts walls and the edges of the surrounding valley until nothing remains but burnt and blackened ruins of the large village that once nestled around the mighty walls of the Fort of Last Hope.

Inside the city forces dispatched from Fort Miritrix to its defence can do nothing but wait helplessly as the Mighty Red Dragon has its way with the area. By afternoon, heavy black smoke forms a massive pyre into the sky obscuring vision for all those in the Fort itself.

And as night falls thousands of campfires begin to set up a few miles from the fort to the south, then to thewest and finally by midnight to the north. Thus, as morning light filtered across the ruined town and the Mighty Fort standing within it. The defenders looked out at huge force made up of Myr'drachs, Drachs, soldiers and Dragons of the Cult army with some trepidation.

Only the eastern passage through the mountains was still theirs since the Fort itself backed up against the ravine passage meaning an army would have to break through the Fort, or somehow scale massive rugged mountains to get behind them. For now the supply lines through the eastern pass to the makeshift docks for supply ships guided through the reefs by the Sindalerians remained open. How long that would remain so with he dragons present was not known.

After three days of Seige a letter arrived for the Forts leaders demanding their surrender from the enemy General Jaedon Siphe, a man rumoured to have never lost a battle under his direct command, a man who already had stamped his authority on the conflict in Hilm. His tactics and battle plans the ones that had enabled them to so far take over and control almost half of Hilm.  The messages returned from Sir Lance and Lord Alexander were sent to the Cult General and within hours the first attacks began.

The Cult armies began building large seige towers and catapults while Two Cult corruputed Dragons began dropping large rocks on the Fort from above . Occasionally the Mighty Red dragon was also seen gliding over the pass to the east.

This continues for over a week.

Rumour Has It / Azattan Temple in Sederra
« on: April 11, 2011, 08:12:03 pm »
And in the aftermath of the war in Sederra as the clean up begins. Sand Sea Synod soldiers have cleared debris from the damaged Azattan Temple and entered it to find....nothing.'

Parts of the temple had been collapsed and others ransacked by Cult soldiers but apart from a few bodies of elderly Azattans none of the followers could be found.

At this stage Synod officials have removed the bodies and cordoned off the damaged building and have left it alone in case any Azattans show up.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Nesar
« on: April 06, 2011, 06:16:29 am »
Within days of a Black Wizard showing up in Blackford Castle to make an offer to the War Council an unsanctioned action has taken place.

Before the War Council had even finished making their determinations over whether they would accept the Wizards offer a group of adventurers had taken it upon themselves to act.

Upon reaching Nith the adventurers found a state of chaos. Soldiers and mercenaries ruled the inns and taverns, the local inhabitants hiding in their homes, many afraid to leave them in case they were set upon by thugs or riffraff or undisciplined soldiers.

The Drach Tesak ruled the night eliminating any they felt were a threat to their armies impending invasion. A whole city on the brink of destabilisation, ready to capitulate to the armies of the Cult as soon as they arrive.

Into this mess came a band of hardy folks, used to the rigours of danger and death. With the help of one of the few remaining figures of authority in the town, the head of the Peasant army or the Nesar Field Regiment as they were referred to, Master Kerrin of Balin dale. The adventurers began their search for the Drach Tesak in the city.

Several strikes from the Tesak on the Adventurers at night took their toll but the Tesak fared the worst of it. Tenacious as adventurers are known to be they pushed and pushed eventually finding Cult sympathisers in the town who were giving the Tesak access to the city through tidal tunnels created by the river and the ocean. These men declared a pox on adventures and Faith worship seeing the Cult as a viable alternative to both.

Persistant as ants the adventurers descended into the tunnels facing not only the sneaky underhanded strike and run tactics of the Drach Tesak but their nefarious traps and attempts to flood tunnels the adventurers entered as they themselves fled.

Lives were lost on both sides but the determination of the adventurers coupled with their considerable firepower in strength of steel and Al'noth forced the Tesak to abandon the tunnels and return to their own forces.

Within hours of the adventurers returning from a farm a day out of the city where the Tesak were gaining access to the underground tunnels four men in black robes appeared in the centre of the city.

They summoned all the Black Ravens in the city and surrounds and new orders were issued. The Ravens then set about driving the soldiers and mercenaries out of the city and back to their mobilisation areas. more than a few soldiers lost their lives to the violent agression of the Ravens in carrying out their orders.

Meanwhile in the city a meeting was called by the four Black Robed men of any and all hidden in the city who held any position of authority.

Whether they have enough time to rebuild what the Tesak pulled down only time will tell.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / National Day of Mourning for Rael
« on: April 01, 2011, 10:30:34 am »
As news arrives in Rael of the hollow victory in Sederra Lord Rael the Benevolant has declared a national day of morning in his realm to remember the lives lost of the people of Rael.

In Succession a similar day is agreed to be held. IN Sederra the Sandy Sea Synod leaders still alive, mainly in Sloven adhere to the day also, heaping praise upon the dedication and sacrifice made by the Rael men and women in helping to save Sederra from Cult domination.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Sederra
« on: March 05, 2011, 07:04:46 am »
A lone gull wings its way over the debris strewn beach of Audiria, over the battered city, veering its way around a large column of black smoke and into a window of the Synods main building. A caretaker druid arrives and speaks with the animal then hurries to his masters chambers. Hearing the birds message the Master issues orders and soon servants are running throughout the small palace in a state of haste.

Sand Synod Cabalists are mustered and detachements of guards formed up and sent to the remnants of the cities western and southern gates.

One of the Synods, Master Ashah Ke'toom emerges from the wing of the Palace and addresses the remaining Cabalists and his remaining leaders of the Synod forces in Audiria.

"My brothers and sisters, I have good and bad news.
I have received word that the allied fleet coming to aid us has been attacked and lost several ships. I do not know how many remain to help defend against the Cult fleet soon to arrive. However, sometime today over 4000 Raelite soldiers should arrive at the southern gate to the city with the Rael engineers who will assemble seige engines for the coming battles and I am told others will start to arrive each day after to bolster our defences.  Also shortly I will go to the western gate and receive the first of the Succession forces. I am to understand that 500 Light cavalry are even now approaching the city.

I am also led to believe that the Cult fleet has split into smaller groups. One has changed directly slightly and is heading towards the northern side of the city while the other is coming directly towards us, there are also three ships that have veered slightly southwards.  There is a dragon with both the north group and the ones coming towards us.

The fleet should arrive within 3 days. It is time we made ready to receive those that are going to aid us as well as for the battle ahead. You know what to do."

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Rise of the Long Storm
« on: March 03, 2011, 02:00:16 am »
Above the skies of Audiria, not even a day after the Cult dragons attacked the walls and main gates of the beleagured city the alarm bells ring yet again. Black smoke drifts above the desert sands creating long thin trails into the upper atmosphere in the clear bright morning sun from buildings still burning from the attacks the day before.

The bells ring loud and clear, those brave enough to venture out on the streets that morning run quickly for underground shelters in various buildings around the city that still stand. Once again pikemen, nervous and sweating already from worry and stress move to positions designated around the city to mount what minimal resistance they can offer against the sheer power and brute force of the Cult dragons that have brought their nation to a standstill and killed or made refugees of thousands of their countrymen.

A Synod Cabalist, one considered to be amongst an esteemed order of the elite of the Sand Sea Synods forces waits beneath the overhang of a building with thirty pikemen at his back. He waits with his hand shadowing his dark eyes against the already burning morning sun as he seeks the tell tale specks in the sky that will signal the position of the attacking dragons.

Soon he has them, coming from the west. He watches as they descend from up high a number of miles out from the city over the desert itself. He watches as they gather momentum tucking their wings into their bodies for greater speed generation. In that moment he cannot help but admire the sheer natural power and grace of the beasts but nor can he ignore their potential for destruction. Glancing back at the men behind him he can smell the fear in them. Many had not eaten properly for days, some had lost family and friends already and most were simply not trained for war such as this. Motioning for them to wait and stay hidden he continued to watch the west soon losing sight of the Dragons behind the city walls. At the speed they were coming he estimated it would only be minutes before they would reach the city walls and the attacks would resume.

Closing his eyes the Cabalist called on his ancestors to be with him and prayed as he had done so every day for the last few weeks as if it would be his last day on this world. Touching a sacred relic of his family to his forehead and his lips he walked from the place in which he had hidden and stood to the middle of the dusty street. He signalled his men to stay hidden. There, alone in the middle of the street he called on the Al'noth, words of power that wrapped and twisted around him in currents of energy and the flow of magic that he believed came from his ancestors.

Deep into his castings he heard the first roar and glimpsed the flash of a dark shape as one dragon hit the western wall and rock and debris, men and dust exploded into the air. Fire filled the air in the street ahead and more buildings burst into flame. Then there was a second flash as the other dragon landed on top of the temple to Azatta and breathed fire into the streets around it setting more buildings alight.

Within moments the morning had been shattered in a cacophany of bells, dragon roars, flying debris, fire and the sounds of the wounded or dying.

The Cabalist spoke words of power and ice fell from the skies striking the dragon breaking through the cities western wall. That wall held the gate to the desert road that led to North Fort. Then, more words and harsh crackling lightning arced out in raging blue tendrils to wrap around the creatures neck and wing.

The dragon roared its fury and launched heavy boulders torn from the walls itself at its attacker. The rocks thundered into buildings around the Cabalist and he glimpsed quickly that one struck the place where his men were waiting. He could hear their screams in the dust that now filled the street but forcing his mind to the task at hand their cries become just part of the background noise as he released himself to the magic and cast everything he could summon at the dragon.

Some attacks fizzled and brushed off the dragon, others ran like rain down its skin while others seemed to cause the creature harm. Enraged it advanced on the Cabalist down the street taking time to tear down and destroy everything around it, buildings were smashed into pieces, people who ran into its path were torn apart, the road was clawed into jagged chunks, and clouds of dust and sand were raised by the massive wings as the creature slowly advanced.

At the same time in another part of the city the other dragon that had caused destruction from atop the temple had moved into the streets and was systematically hunting for any people it could find, buildings were either torn down or turned into raging torrents of fire in its rampage.

All the while far into the desert to the west a storm was rising. Winds picked up across the desert and slowly formed a maestrom that rose slowly and gradually until far in the west the sky was filled with a tall whirling tornado of sand particles. All around it hot winds sucked cold air from far above, drawing it down into the spinning vortex at its centre. The sudden condensation causing an intense build up of electrical energy within its core that was realised by sharp and jagged flashes of lighting and deep peals of thunder. The storm gathered strength building higher and higher, wider and wider and then it began to move eastwards.

Oblivious to the rising storm the Cabalist watched his death advancing on him. The massive enraged Cult dragon had allmost reached him and been able to shrug off most of the energy he had thrown at it leaving him nothing in reserve. Waiting for the inevitable he closed his eyes as the dragons claw moved towards him and its violent roars filled his years.

Then...far above the storm from the desert broke over the city, the sky darkened all at once and the spinning vortex of sand enveloped the city. The violent wind blown sand cut vision to no more than a few feet, and the winds howled through the streets, lighting lashed out and struck at any object that rose above the main level of the city and thunder roared within its depths.

Blown off his feet the Cabalist was flung against a building by the force of the sudden wind, sand lashed at his exposed skin and forced its way into his eyes and mouth. The Dragon that had been about to strike him tried to leap into the whirling maelstrom to escape and was all at once smashed into the ground as two smaller forms tore into it. The Cabalist fought to blink away sand and fix his gaze on the confused images, his mind barely able to adapt to the sudden change in the air around him and the battle before him. Awe and shock filled him, disbelief rose in his heart and then the thought that his prayers to his ancestors had saved his life filled his mind.

Struggling to see or even move in the vicious sand storm he could barely make out the shapes tearing and ripping into the larger dragon, blood splattered on the ground as the larger dragon tried desperately to escape its attackers and gain some height. The combat was ferocious between the three combatants but it was clear the two smaller foes had gained the element of suprise over the larger. The Cabalist fought to regain his feet fighting against the fierce winds as the larger dragon managed to break away from its attackers and leap into the air. There, a massive discharge of lightning thundered into the creature and with a stench of burning flesh and a loud thump its lifeless form hit the ground. The shockwave from the blast sent the Cabalist back against the wall again where he collapsed unconscious.

Meanwhile the other dragon had noticed the approaching storm and leapt into the air to evade it. The storm seemed to surge towards the fleeing creature and just as it reached it a huge blue skinned shape emerged from the storm. Lightning issued forth from its open maw along with hundreds of tendrils of electrical energy from the storm it had created. The massive discharge enveloped the fleeing Cult dragon and when the flash dissipated dust and ash, all that remained of the dragon drifted slowly towards the desert floor.

With a deep throated roar the Long Storm circled the city, the storm he and his kin had created starting to dimish, leaving a thick layer of sand over the entire city.

With another deep roar, answered in kind by two smaller dragons, a gold and a slate coloured one that rose from the city to join him. The three dragons headed west once again.

And as the dust settled, the people emerged to behold the wonder of their salvation from the Cult dragons.

Rumour Has It / Odd goings on in Hurm
« on: February 28, 2011, 07:24:03 am »
// approximately 4 weeks before the most recent dragon attack in Audiria on the city defences.

The Regnant of Hurm, Saviar Morgensen has ordered all dry docks and fitting yards in Hurm cleared of everything bar the most recent orders from the Raven Trade Guild. Everything has been ordered cleared and prepared to receive ships for fitting out and repair.

People are wondering whats going on as the move constitutes a great deal of empty space in the shipyards around Hurm. No further information has been forthcoming but some suspect it might be related to the sudden departure of the Sea Tiger and three other Hurm Naval vessels in the dark of night less than a week prior.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / State of play on the War
« on: February 25, 2011, 06:28:37 pm »
//Over the last few 10 months of the war the following has occured in sequential order. Some of course have taken more time than others to complete but this is the general state of play and order of events.

The Blackford War Council implodes then reforms without Moraken to continue the role it was formed for,

Sederra has negotiated an alliance with Rael and Sucession and now faces destruction or being saved by accumulated forces on Dreger,

the Cult fleet bears down on Audiria,

two dragons keep Sederra locked down,

allied forces are busy sailing to Alhon and then marching to battle lines drawn up by the Blackford council and those on the ground in Hilm itself including Sir Lance and Lord Alexander,

Nesar has thrown off the shackles of the Cult with the help of the Corathites and Pyrtechonites,

PC forces seek the location of the Broken One,

the Cult Army in Vilsa with Cyn Chen marches on Nith,

a small Cult force drawn from those that marched on Sundance march towards Fort Miritrix,

the Sederran navy that left Audiria are smashed before even reaching the Cult fleet,

Cult forces secure southern Hilm and move towards the Fort of Last Hope from Sundance and Briardusk,

A very large Cult army has reached the border with Hilm having marched from Swarm lake and rumours are that Molvaren has been seen in this army.

A secondary Cult Army being led by Commander of the Drachs, Jaedan Siphe have marched from Briardusk towards Hilm Castle slowly so they can secure the lands north of Fort of Last Hope. Running battles have been occuring constantly with forces deployed from Hilm Castle to slow these advancing forces down. Heavy casualties have been taken on both sides but the allies have steadily lost ground to this army as it advances north.

Hilm castle has been preparing for the inevitability that they will be under seige within a few months by Cult armies from Swarm lake and those advancing northwards from Sundance.

Fort of Last Hope has also been preparing for Seige as Cult armies form the south secure southern Hilm and armies form Briardusk begin to cut off supply from all avenues except through the moutains to the east. This avenue only possible due to agreements made with the Shindalerians to guide supply ships through the reefs to shore near this location.

At the end of ten months;

Fort of Last Hope is about to beseiged (within the week),
Nith about to be attacked (within two weeks),
Fort Miritrix about to be attacked (within the month),
Audiria about to be attacked by a Cult fleet (within two weeks)
Castle Hilm about to be advanced on (over next 2 months)
A PC led assault on a place within Kuhl will be undertaken (2-3 months away)

// Please note time on layo for all intents and purposes of the PLot has slowed somewhat and may be out of sync with different events. This post is to try and give you some perspective on the time lines as they are ongoing. Any questions or things you feel should be added please PM me. As we move into the final stages time will slow even more in an ooc sense otherwise things don't make a lot of sense in the overall scheme of the war going on, if you know what I mean!

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Azattans withdraw
« on: February 18, 2011, 05:34:42 pm »
Birds, summoners, parchments, and so on are delivered to as many Azattans as can be reached.

In Hilm, Azattan leader of the Hospitalers Core of 400 now helping in Hilm Council member Mari Jentre, has announced that the Azattans are leaving the campaign.

While they regret their decision to withdraw it is imperative that they tend to a most urgent matter occuring within their faith.

Questions and demands of the Azattans as they leave are met with fear and trepidation. They refuse to answer questions and seem most urgent in reaching their centres of worship as quickly as possible.

Those on Dreger begin to assemble outside Northfort since they are unable to reach Audiria safely.

Stunned forces depending on the immeasurable aid the Azattan healers had brought to the battlefield are wondering why they have been abandoned in their hour of need.

Aeridinites, Toranites, Rofireinites and other faiths with lesser roles have tried to fill the gaps but they are strained to breaking point and in Hilm, the loss of the large healing core has hit hard with morale dropping on the front lines already.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Nesar capitulates
« on: February 14, 2011, 05:41:35 am »
For days terror rules the streets of Arnax, the horror spreads into nearby farmlands as well and there is not one person who will not forget the two days of horror when the Corathites and the Pyrtechonites destroyed the Green Dragon Cultists that had surrounded Tower Veroer for so long.

At the end of it, when the dead returned to their graves, when the nightmares subsided, the screams faded and the blood stopped flowing, that was when Queen Maillard sent messengers to each quarter of her kingdom with the following proclaimation.

"On this day, on this hour, we do proclaim that Nesar no longer stands in the shadow of the threat of Kuhl and the Green Dragon Cult. No longer do we fear their dragons for we have shown there are those amongst us able to overcome such a threat.

We declare that Nesar will return to nuetrality and cease to participate in any actions, or allow any actions by Kuhl or the Green Dragon Cult or those who would ally themselves against them to occur on Nesar soil.

We have the word of those who have liberated our nation that they will stand with us to prevent any and all who would seek to use our lands again, or attempt to subjugate us. Be they Kuhl and the Green Dragon Cult, or those that oppose them."

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Dragons attack!
« on: February 10, 2011, 04:33:00 pm »
Sederra is already starting to feel the initial assaults of the Cult closing in on their shores.

Thousands of soldiers are on route to the nation from Succession and Rael but will they reach them in time to save them from whats descending on them.

Reports this morning indicate two dragons attacked numerous villages along the coast north and south of Audiria destroying and burning everything in their path including men, women and childen, goats and camels. No one is spared their relentless attacks. Hundreds are reportedly dead and the coastline to the north and south of Audiria is filled with thin trails of black smoke from burning villages.

Such devastation from only two Dragons.

Synod light cavalry units have been dispatched from Audiria both north and south to try and return survivors to desert camps west of the city of Audiria itself. many are already fleeing to the camps and caves in the desert sands seeking shelter.

It appears someone has managed to convince the giants in the region to allow the people to shelter in some of the larger as yet uninhabited caves.

Officials put the Cults fleets approach at merely weeks from shore and yet the armies coming to reinforce Sederra may only just be reaching them. It's going to be a very close call. Officials are bracing themselves for more Dragon attacks before the fleet itself arrives.

Rumour Has It / Boyer reports Molten Isle stirring
« on: February 10, 2011, 08:16:42 am »
Boyer Scout ships have reported heavy banks of thick fog reeking of the fires of Molten Isle enveloping the vast landmass. The sulphuric smelling Fogs descended over the isle and surrounding waters a few hours ago the heaviest forming around the infamous temple on the edge of the Island.

The ferry across from near Xora's tower to the island has stopped running until the fog clears.

A faint rumour claims that large numbers were entering the temple before the mist descended and that it was radiating a dull red glow but these have not been verified.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / War hits Dreger again..
« on: February 10, 2011, 01:47:50 am »
First it was Dark Elves in Rael, then Rael and the southern independent cities and now its the Cult dragging other nations into war on Dreger.

In response to a sizable Cult and Silver Cresent Fleet approaching Sederra's coasts Liege Lord Roland has issued a new decree to all the Lieges. They have been forced to supply thousands of soldiers from each area for an army to march to Sederra. The request has been met with some hostility from some areas but according to law they must abide by the request.

Forces have been ordered to assemble in Castle Succession before they will proceed to Northfort along the desert road and from there across the desert to Audiria. Lord Roland has also announced that in lieu of a head of his army he will place the army under the control of Lord Raels campaign General, a Deep Dwarf called Orvaar T'sek.

Meanwhile over twenty thousand Rael soldiers are already making their way to Orcs Watch and from there to Sloven where they will advance along the coastal road towards Audiria.

The roads to the south east of Rael are also clogged with thousands of Rael soldiers making their way to Seawatch Fort destined for the war effort in Hilm.

The Sand Sea Synod has now officially declared they are denying the Cult any and all access to their lands and seas and are mobilising forces up and down the coast. Audiria has turned into a city on the brink of war with the plaace rapidly turning into a centre for the coming battle. Everyone knows that if the Cult capture Audiria Sederra will be untenable and allied forces will have to retreat across the burning deserts to the mountains and try and hold the Cult there.

Boyer is sending several heavy infantry units and other army divisions to Point Dart in the event that the Cult capture Audiria and turn north instead of west.

General Discussion / Plot requests from all players
« on: January 23, 2011, 11:21:25 pm »
We understand everyone is getting excited about current events in the world and thats fantastic.

I'd just like to make some requests on our behalf of the player community during this time.

1/ Kuhl is effectively locked down and inaccessable anymore without GM interaction. You can in game still travel those areas and kill myrdrachs and drachs and the like but for all intents and purposes that in game activity is separate to actualy gm run events of that same nature and will have no bearing on anything related to the PLot.  We have to ask that you keep that sort of 'adventuring' outside the realm of the Plot. ie from this moment forth plot stuff will have to be handled through GM interaction, guidance or involvement.

2/ Please be patient, there are only a few on the plot team, we are doing our best to keep the momentum happening and help people as much as we can with the things they want to do.

3/ Please try to keep things in perspective. The Cult are a highly organised force with very fast response tactics available to them and large and powerful armies. To the average soldier one Myrdrach could eliminate one, two or even three units of soldiers before it is taken down (approx 60 men), maybe even more, and the Cult have a large number of these. The Cult also have Dragons close to their borders which can cover a lot of terrain in short times, these dragons are capable of carrying nets with Drachs in them or even Drach Ori and others. They are no small pushover and please do not assume they are.

4/ We want to try and make this enjoyable for everyone as we can but when people try to force emote or push certain avenues that seem unreasonable and are not willing to work with us then it makes it frustrating for us and for them and puts a whole negative spin on things.

5/ We are doing the best we can, please try and be happy with what you get.

6/ Have fun...thats an order :)

Rumour Has It / The Cult is moving!
« on: January 22, 2011, 09:08:07 pm »
Barely hours after the announcement of Molvaren of Kuhl intentions, the armies of Kuhl have begun to move.

With the cooperation of Nesar soldiers, Kuhl have set up outposts near Nith, Orin and Rin to support local Nesar soldiers which are securing the docks, warehouses and towns. This move has effectively given them complete control of all the ports on the western side of Belinara.

Queen Louise Maillard of Nesara has officially closed Arnax to any and all nations or faiths that ally themselves against Kuhl.

Already Kuhl have dispatched a Dragon and a small unit of drachs to surround the Temple of Corath in the city which has closed its doors refusing to ally itself with the Cult or Nesar in the coming conflict. Choosing instead it seems, to close their doors and wait.

These actions mean that any allied armies would have to first capture the ports of these citys in order to land troops on Belinara. The only other option open to the allied forces is Alhon on the eastern side of Belinara in the nation of Hilm.

Ships of the Silver Crescent Slavers have been seen in the Sea of Fury in large groups and it seems a small fleet is even now being filled with troops in Westgate.

Also it seems that the Cult have armies massing in Vilsa, Tulam and Sulkin.

Envoys from Kuhl have crossed the border with Horn bringing missives to the druids indicating that the Kuhl forces in Sulkin will respect the border with Horn and are not there to threaten the Horn Kingdom in any way.

Rumour Has It / Aeridinites and Azattans make a move..
« on: January 21, 2011, 11:26:29 pm »
It seems that amongst the nations of the world it is the faiths that are mobilising first to counter what seems to be a growing threat from the GDC.

As of today we have heard that the Aeridinites and Azattans have formed a unified front in coming together to arrange for mobile hospitals and the like to be assembled for the coming war in Belinara.

In Northpoint the High priestess Victoria Adlam has announced that Red Nimbus Palmer Felch and the soon to be arriving Green Nimbus Adelle Moonsong will take a large hospitaler force across to Belinara once they have properly assembled.

So too in Audiria Council member Mari Jentre has accounced that she along with Overseer Larissa Husami and Sound Ahim ben-Elhud will be bringing as many members of the faith as they can muster to Northpoint to join the mobilisation there.

This comes after a damning account of the current leadership in Sederra with Council member Mari likening them to 'stunned mullets who jump at any Cult shadow.'

Meanwhile in the nation of Boyer the High Boyer has promised whatever aid he can to any and all willing to help fight against the threat of the GDC. he has promised supplies, ships for transport and is even now discussing the possibility of supplying Boyer soldiers to the war effort.

Rumour Has It / Blackford Castle is abuzz...
« on: January 20, 2011, 09:44:10 pm »
Incredible scenes at Blackford Castle in the nation of Trelania on Mistone as security has been increased by at least tenfold.

Lucindites from Spellguard have arrived at the castle in force to bolster the already heavily guarded castle.

Moraken himself has arrived for a meeting with the Queen as has the senior commanders of the armies of Trelania.

Most suprisingly however is that Lord Alexander of Hilm has also arrived by a new portal that the Lucindites have established at Blackford Castle that links it to Hilm Castle on Belinara. It appears the portal expert Connor has been responsible for the final arrangements of the portal.

Amidst those accompanying Lord Alexander is the displaced Queen Langovale of Kuhl and her Wargeneral.

Security is intense around the castle, even a unit of Toranites and Voraxians freshly interred at Fort Last have arrived to provide additional security.
