Well it's that time of the year. Exams... *sighs*
I haven't been around for a while and for the following 2-3 weeks I will be totally overwhelmed by exams. So as a note to my guildmates, friends and DMs whose quests I was on - I most likely won't be joining any quests in the near future.
See you on the flipside or the occasional evening I decide to log in.

Hrm.. this dragon must have told the truth. I am someone who can help defeat Blood. I know I am. I have stayed in Hlint for a few days now. So far, I've managed to avoid crowds and do my own doings in peace. However I keep seeing others who seem like heroes. Bah, pathetic. Especially the ones who bear Katias sign. This angers me and drives me forward. I hunt for food and even craft what I need. So far so good. Let's see what this town and these heroes have to offer. Perhaps they share my views, perhaps they'll be friends. Perhaps not...

Yes, well just 10 minutes ago I went to Hlint's smithy and returned some bronze shirts. I completed the task and got a new one, for just 1 shirt. Completed it aswell but then I noticed some armor on the ground. "Unidentified".  So I picked it up, but there was more... a lot more..  I couldn't identify them myself nor could someone with higher lore. He however said they gave a message like on the picture. Invalid item for that function.  So I thought I'd sell them, went to the merchant and sold them for 1 gold. Then it revelaed the items identity. They were leather armors.. Wolf and studded Crag leather if I recall correctly. So I'm guessing this shouldn't have happened and thought I'd report this. Also it's a bit of a pain, that those employers don't give out many jobs. Amber in the smithy only offers that it needs Bronze chain shirts. Now although yes this might be the only thing she needs, those other "[insert random number] 's" are really a pain. Perhaps more work  . *edit* heh didn't know how to make them images show directly  My bad!

These last days have been very interesting and busy. I finally stood behind the gates of Hlint. I had made it in one peace and my quest to prove myself was ready to start. Fate played a trick on me, when the first person I met in Hlint, happened to be indeed... a gnome. Appelo, a sorcerer apprentice, stood in front of my and was kind enough to help me find job. Those bloody bandits had taken my armor and axe, and I needed the gold fer new ones. Together we slayed the rat bugger in the sewers and returned to the surface unharmed.
I finally had the gold to afford armor and weaponry. I killed goblin scouts fer gold and when I went to get some water from the well... Bloody hell... slimy nasty leeches... huge leeches were all around it. I and a few others set on a quest to find out what was behind this. Oh what an experience. We whacked alot of slimeys that day and returned with the helpers, victoriously to Hlint.
Next I got involved in a mage's matters, who needed escort to Rilara. What a sight to see, an army of adventurers agreed to help him and so we set of towards Rilara. Minor annoyances aside our party managed very well. I met a kinsmen Kobal and a wizard Rufus and plenty of other adventurers... I think I'll be seeing them more often now and they'll certainly hear a lot of me in the future.
Har! They can be sure in that matter!
So what lies ahead. I showed my skills with a shield and in these few days, I have improved even further. Perhaps find work in the Inn to sponsor my cause... perhaps find a sponsor... but one's for sure... I will prove my abilities as a Defender!

Well... It has been fun so far... I came to this town called Hlint and met some warriors.
They had a few errands for me, which involved slaying goblins, so naturally I accepted. Soon
after I met a woman who asked me to return his book. She said some ratman took it. She
didn't mention whether the ratman should live or not, so I'm here to slay him... her...
well.. it. So here I am resting before confronting him.. These rats are quick and love to
bite me... must be my sweet avenging blood.
Since my arrival I couldn't find my sword, so I purchased a new one - made of copper. It has
served me well and my next concern is to find some decent armor. Other then that my presence
here is yet to be felt.
Well... time to go carve some rats... still gotta make my way out of here...
