Thats odd.  From this website, or the one on the vault?

You can download from the one on the vault.  I'm certain that one is the most updated.  I'm unsure if the one here was ever updated after the final version, to be honest.... (meant to bring that up too!)

Hehe, yep. Thanks all.  And thanks Orion for making Kali's first real trip into those mountains memorable.  Hardragh is probably not going to take her any place dangerous for years! ;)

*Kali shakes her head, as she listens from the edge of a small crowd.*

The gnolls were convenient, and easily manipulated.

*She raises an eyebrow, inclining her head thoughtfully.*

As for a next step.... *She shrugs a little, her emerald eyes looking over the group, as if holding back a thought and looking for somebody in particular.*

//Kali looks to see if Abi is in this group.

This is the post I was digging for!

Doesn't exactly say what I remember... but it was close.  This still applies.

Any ambition new players/characters (or ambitions old ones) looking to find their footing in the world and willing to invest some IC and OOC dedication to something... I may have an opportunity for you.

*Bumping* Still applies! (p.s. this is OOC)

Marcus, still interested?  Anybody?

[INDENT][INDENT] Mai 20, 1433

It weren't too long after we got back to Leringard when it happened as it did.  The winds shook the inn, and I remember feelin' like the window's might bust in their places.  The deep roar echoed from the docks.  After the storms quieted Sessa and Papa ran out of the door to see, and made me stay behind wit Lily. Truth be told' it was the scariest thing I cin recall.  I don't think Papa want' to tell me what it was, but I heard them talk about the dragon... EVERYBODY talked about the dragon that busted the docks. An peoples homes. and.. well everything.

After that things got sort of crazy around the inn.  Sessa was takin' all kinds of folk in.  There were maybe six cots in all the empty rooms each, and beds in the hall.  That halflin' in blue was blessin' many of the wounded, and Lance, and otheres were bringin' water from outwards out of town.  I'd never seen so many hurt! *The writing gets a little shaky*  I just can't imagin' if....

Hello from the sidelines!

So the x-rays came back clean on my wrist, meaning that there are no issues with the bones or cysts or anything like that.  My Dr. said that it could be tendinitis that is causing the underlying problem, but the symptoms are most definitely nerve related. (=ouch!)

I've started working with a physical therapist that specializes in hand, wrist, and arm therapy and was given a new splint and a new brace to help it keep it in the right place when sleeping and help support it when I do work, respectively.

That said, it still has had good days and bad days, and rest is still the best thing for it.  Fortunately! -- I have a trip scheduled with my family which will keep me away from the computer, or any strenuous activities that will aggravate my wrist for the next week++ .

I'll be leaving tomorrow and will not be back until after August 4th.  My apologies for any loose ends that have been left ("The Gauntlet?" "Wait.. Whats that again?" "oh... you mean you wanted the results?" *coughs*)

But, besides the injury real life has piled on the stresses as well.  I'll try and tie up some loose ends tonight, but if not, definitely when I get back -- hopefully a little healthier too!

Thanks again for all of your support and well wishes!

Lala

Thanks for all the well wishes guys, it means a lot.

I'm heading home (out of town) for the weekend and to my Dr. appointment. So you won't even see me lurking for a few days. I hope the rest will help.

Here's to hoping the Dr. has a few clerical levels of her own.

Ask A Gamemaster / Re: Bard Song

Quote from: Dorganath
Bardsongs (and abilities tied to bardsongs) are not magic.  Bard spells are.  Many bards RP their spells as a kind of singing, which is fine, but these call upon magic, whereas bardsong is more of an inspirational sort of thing and work through the influence of sound/music.

The same applies to Skald abilities. While technically "supernatural" they're destructive sounds, not magical. The supernatural part is in the Skald's ability to produce those sounds, not in the sounds themselves.

I like what he said.

Fixed Bugs / Re: Gaunlet left over...
« on: July 09, 2008, 06:31:55 am »
Ah yes,

Thanks for the heads up.  It really should have only worked the one time in the Gauntlet and then technically disappeared or been given back to Jonina.

I do think its marked plot however, any GM can grab this from you.

Thanks,

Lala

If there are any other left overs that we forgot to grab from inventories, let us know!

Second chance Tuesday's Gauntlet run is unfortunately canceled: http://forums.layonara.com/general-discussion/189542-sitting-out-while.html#post1015172

We will be announcing the times of the other questers shortly.

Layonara Server / Re: Second Chance, Tuesday!
« on: July 06, 2008, 10:09:51 pm »
*Friendly bump*

We need a minimum of 4 characters for you to have any real kind of chance at completing the trial in this quest.

The quest set up for this is also really pretty extensive and it would unfortunately be a waste of time to get all set up, and then not be able to run it.  Therefore, unless there are a minimum of 4 "yes" r.s.v.p's before 3pm EST on Tuesday, we will be forced to cancel this session of the quest.

This is your last chance to run the Gauntlet folks! After that the winner will be announced.

Thanks,

Ananke/Lala
