Trade and Market Hall / Seeking an experienced tailor
« on: June 06, 2005, 06:50:00 pm »
*A note posted in various crafthouses across mistone*
"I seek a tailor who has experience working with the delicate skin of the Malar Panther.  I have obtained enough Malar skins to create Malar leather armour and would be interested in making a deal with any who thinks they could successfully craft this for me.  I can obtain whatever other resources are needed, you will only need to do the crafting.  If interested please contact me with a price for your work"
*In delicate black script, the note is signed*

Fixed Bugs / Rogue Feat: Crippling Strike
« on: June 01, 2005, 04:47:00 am »
Doesn't seem to be working.
The description in game says..  The rogue deals two point of ability score strengh damage on successful sneak attacks.
In the NWN book it says .. Any successful sneak attack automatically deal two points of strength ability damage to the target.
Both of these led me to believe that it would decrease the targets' strength ability score.  I have had this feat for a little while,  But Talan and I tested it last night and it doesn't show that the targets' strength is decreased after a sneak attack.

EDIT: edited spelling mistakes.. its early :-P

General Discussion / Kudos For a Job Well Done!
« on: May 31, 2005, 03:28:00 pm »
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Pankoki for a wonderful quest last night.. (early this morning).  The quest was very Very well put together and very exciting and fun.
Heh.. he even managed to make us all think in the wee hours of the morning (5:30am).
Also many thanks to Pan, Milo, L and all the work behind the scences (Orth) for the most recent plot quests.  With school finally over, I have actually had time to join these and I have to say they have been amazing.
As always the team is all doing great.
  *bows greatfully*
  Lalaith.
p.s. And thanks to Bris too for her wonderful creatures.. even if her drakes are a bit too mean to me *winks*

Development Journals and Discussion / A Gypsy's Tale
« on: April 24, 2005, 08:23:00 pm »
*The pages of a small journal.  Scattered with notes, songs and stories from the hand of Kali*
  Coming to a new place
After my first adventure away from home I drifted into sleep and was taken away.  The  blood pulsed rapidly through my veins as I spoke to a dragon for the first time in my life.  I thought nothing of it though, I thought it was just another dream.  I often dream of dragons.  Surely now I know it wasn't a dream.
When I entered Hlint it was night, it was a very dark and cold night.  The few that ran by me were in to much of a hurry to talk.  This disturbed me as the dragon had told me to seek others, friends and companions which I could aid in the war.   I was almost unsuccesful in finding converstion, or company this night,  I was about ready to check into an inn.. but then I met Chanda.
Chanda, a priestess of Corath sat by the fire with me for hours.  We talked of gods and faith, of death and life.  It seems without faith when one dies their soul becomes breakfast for the soul mother.  Not a very pleasant thought.
She told me of Corath, the god of death.  She showed me the power he grants her to control the undead.  She raised bones that would do her bidding.  Fasicated I watched.  Chanda talked of many things, I listened long and questioned her.  I think if I were granted the oppertunity to travel with her, there would be many tales.  Tales of the dark not often told.   One day I hope to travel with her, to witness things few often do.
Truly I am fascinated by this but still a bit uneasy.  I do not follow the path of the Gypsies any longer, but I do not think I would follow the path of a Corathian either.  Although the stories it would bring.. The stories would be worth retelling..

An acquaintance in the night,   shrouded in red and black.  A priestess of the dark  granted her powers by Corath.     She speaks of night and death,  of tales less often told,  of adventures and travels  which not many have behold.     She told of her aspiration  to fill a place amongst the stars.  A story like no other  an inspiration to a bard.     As night grew into day  and the stars were almost gone  She pray darkness give its blessing,  to grant me breath another dawn.

Development Journals and Discussion / A Change in the Wind...
« on: January 22, 2005, 01:55:00 pm »
*  Lalaith quietly sits on top of a dangerously steep cliff with her feet carelessly dangling over the edge.  She rests her tired head in her glove covered hands which are propped on her legs. She sits alone, just thinking about the events of the past few days.  The wind loudly wips and howls to her as she intently listens.  She pushes her hair out of her eyes continuously as the wind blows it into her face violently.  She lays herself back onto the soft grass covered ground to avoid the constant wipping of the cold night winds.  Stairing straight up into the cloudless darkness of the sky one single tear rolls down the side of Lalaith's pale cheek.  Suddenly the wind stops completely. "I know this"  she says as if talking to someone or somthing "something has changed" she quietly repeats herself "something has changed" She tightly closes her pale eyes as if to block out the entire world.  Quietly she whispers to herself "If only it were that easy".  *
