I, and a group of other adventurers travelled into The Sielwood Forest, and first I was just puzzled about a thing, there was magical darkness in the forest on some spots. After a little visit to the mines we went to the Ranger's Vale to rest and re-supply ourselves. When we started to travel towards Hlint, it happened.. Shadows and a shadow fiend bursted out from the darkness and attacked our group, we managed to slay them, and the other groupings of these vile undead on our way out of the forest. But the darkness remained all the same.
I hope this information serves others well, and that they take care when travelling in to the forest. I myself have no particular idea why and how this has come to be so, but I would be very pleased to see this infection of darkness be lifted from the woods.

First, are the attack bonuses un-stackable, such as with my character: When I equip both my oak quarterstaff and the Lion Leather Gloves, my characters attack bonus doesn't rise above 6. I have a base attack bonus of 5 at the moment, and the oak quarterstaff has the enhancement bonus of +1, and the lion leather gloves give a +1 attack bonus. The other thing I was wondering about is the connection between Lightning Bolt and Glass Rods: I noticed that my glass rods (I don't recall the date of acquirement) don't diminish in numbers when I cast a lightning bolt. is this normal? I was just wondering that is it a bug from the recent item-looks-update of some sorts, or is it intentional that you need only one glass rod to cast multiple lightning bolts? Thank you

I'd like to sell my oaken staff, it is more sturdier and durable than the hickory variant.
This particular staff also acts as a permanent light source, as I have cast a spell upon it. The light reaches up to some 20 meters or so.
The staff also burns at both ends with a flame, that doesn't seem to have effect upon most materials (that includes your foes).
I am asking for 2500 gold for this staff, the high price is because of the little specialities on the staff. I am also willing to make a trade for certain scrolls of the third circle (hold person and/or lightning bolt).

Aye, it has come to my knowledge in the most irritating way that a magical staff I was searching and had crafted for me, is not suitable for my powers in any particular way. But through means of magical identifying I believe this staff of mine would be of use to a druid with mediocre powers.
So I am putting it for sale, the ingredients to make a staff like this are not easily gathered and / or made, and their cost can rise up to seven thousand gold pieces, or even more. But I dare not ask for such a price on this matter, and I am only asking for what reads below, more can be offered too, of course, far be it from me to deny gold offered to me. The staff gives you some enhancements to your skills and let's you summon a creature once per day.

As the topic says, I am looking for fire opal(s), but not of the cut type. Just the plain old mineral version. A faulty (scratched, marked or somesuch) specimen is also accepted. Well, I might add that fire opal dust is also accepted.
