so the other day I was waiting by the pond in Hlint for Sin (to look at some rings that I should have bought) and I bump into some guys ox (should say that as I was walking I clicked on it by mistake) that was tied down in a very public location. All of a sudden he comes running up to me with sword drawn throwing insults at me and threating me. Now I am all for good RP but that was a little too much. Instead of just laughing and walking away, which would hqave been the best thing to do, I stayed and told the guy to lighten up. Then Acacea, Paula, and Quin showed up and told us both to calm down. I am glad they did that even though I had no intetion of getting into a (verbal) brawl. Also I have to apologize to the guy (dont know who he was) for calling him chubs. So what is the point of this story well as Acacea said it is best to put your ox out of the way unless you are activly using it and even then walk it over to a less used area. I wonder... How would I go about opening a ox boarding house? this way you could put your ox somewhere that it would be cared for and protected and out of the way. I could rent oxes with equipment for daily use. You can get an ox with picks and shovles and boxes, leave a deposit take the ox and pay 25 gold per day or a % of your efforts. To all who are new to this place, being freshly called here by the Dragon, I would like to gather a group in order in handle some matters that have been plaguing this town and the surrounding area (goblins, rats, missing amulet, and more). Also to work together to gather raw materials and craft needed supplies as a group. Each person choosing a craft or small set of crafts and focusing on that to supply the group (arrows, weapons, potions, and others). We will work together to gather the needed raw materials for each crafts person. Together we can grow in our skills and tackle the challenges that are put to us. I know it is tempting to attach yourself to stronger more experienced people in order to complete tasks that are asked of you. But I feel that if we form a well rounded group and learn to work together we can help ourselves grow. Anyone interested please post a note to me here. If the response is good then I will set a time for a meeting.

I do not know if this is already posted or has been suggested in the past (I have been looking though). How does one go about becoming a GM in Layonara. I was a PnP DM for many years (15) and enjoyed the story telling, mystery building, hero challenging, RP interaction, Multi RP roles (NPC) that come with it. I would like to do this again online. I would need some hand holding in the begining in terms of the tools and of course the blending into the layonara overall story line.

I have a PC as my home system for games and that is what I have been using to play NWN. I travel for work quite a bit and my work system is a mac I would like to get nwn for mac if layonara is supported on the mac. If so what files do I need to migrate back and forth as I switch between systems.

Is there a list of what items and enchantments can be used per level? It is a little confusing, I have run into what I think are other players of the same class but lower level and they are using enchantments on weapons that I thought had level requirements. What am I missing? Also is there a list of XP needed for each level per class?

Far from my home and amongst strangers has caused me to lose sight of my purpose. I have fallen into the ways of this land and am ashamed of my actions. I feel the need to return to the forests and I am spending more and more time on my own exploring the forests, mountains, and plains around Hlint. There is something missing I came here to hone my skills in order to better serve my purpose of protecting the forests, and yes to some extent that has been progressing but still I have a nagging feeling that I am needed elsewere. Others too feel this I have heard them say so. What is coming and will I be ready?
