Trade and Market Hall / Slaad Tongues

A short note is posted on the wall.

I am wondering if there is a use for Slaad tongues.  If anyone is interested in purchasing them . . please let me know as I have about 18 of them taking up space.  I'm in a cleaning mood and  I will have many more items to post at a later date. (Minor Gloves, Robes (Fire and Lightening), Armor and Minor Weapons)  - Jil Valhaikor.

On Oak Parchment is a large word printed in flowing common:

MAP of MISTONE

I, Jilseponie Valhaikor have traveled much and far, and along my journeys I have marked upon parchments the many different places of Mistone.  Mainly just how to get from one place to another.  It is very basic but it may help those new to the area to find thier way around.  It may not have everyplace (no underground places - sorry) but enough to get you from place to place. You may mark upon it notes as you will.  All I ask is 10 coin. A map of Rilara is currently under way but that may take a little more time.

At the bottom corner of the parchment is a square of parchment with mountains upon it.

Trade and Market Hall / 2 Panther Malar Skins

On Oak parchment posted on the wall in flowing common script, it states:  

I have in my posession 2 skins of Panther Malar.  Not having the skill to put them to good use I would like to put these up for auction in the hopes that the skins will not be wasted as were thier deaths.  Coin or Item trade is acceptable though as I know little of the values of many things, please give a rough estimation when bidding with items.  Bids will be taken until the 23rd of the current month. Make your marks below please. (4 days hence) (4PM EST)

Wild Surge Inn / Orc Raiders in the Sielwood

On a clean piece of parchment written in flowing script in common is the following announcement:

While Traveling in the Sielwood bordering the Goblin Wastelands, I encountered three small bands of orcs with a shaman.  I want to warn any who are in the area of this threat.  Please be on your guard.

On another side note I went to Lar today and there was carnage in the town.  Bodies were piled everywhere.  We were unable to locate the source of the attack but the tracks left behind were of shod boots. Many died and there was no one left behind that saw what happened to give an accounting of the melee.

*Large Parchment Notice Posted on the Wall* House Wanted - Getting Married  Yes, my fiance Daren has too much stuff (Its a man thing I guess) And he's not too big on sleeping in the outdoors (No privacy there and he mutters something about termites in his Barkskin?) Just looking for something small and not too expensive.  Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.  Just ask for me, Jil.  I'm usually running around the Hlint area in the later part of the day, early evenings. Thank you all.  (When things are in order an official notice of marriage and details will be posted!)

Dear Journal,

   I know I have not written here in some time since arriving in Hlint, but things seem to be a bit fast paced and yet . . . quiet.  This new land I have arrived on is so much different from, well, back home.  Home.  A person can have many, yet none.  I hope that this new place will provide what I need or should I say, looking for.

   Upon my arrival races of all types were so willing to help me in any way possible.  They were polite, kind, giving, not like, well, before.  What skills I brought with me, rangering, roguish abilities,  and a bit of wizardry are somewhat useful, but this place, this land, there is an honesty to it.  It is something I could definitely get used to.  But the roguish part of me is from another time and definitely not for this place.  But at first I felt so out of place and yet I still do at times.  When I walk with others, I walk behind, letting them talk, work, and barter with others.  I do not really have any skills to offer them.  I am still weak from my previous ordeals and lonely.

   When I travel with others to help those in dire need against the many forms of evil that pervade the land, I find myself at the rear of the battle.  How it hurts to hide behind these noble fighters only to hurl arrows at the beasts, and see how little that helps!  I ache to be my former self, but I lack the strength and constitution to hold my own in battle.  Gods but I feel so helpless!  If there could be another way . . .

   One young paladin offered his help on many an occasion.  Kharl, I believe is a follower of Toran?  I am still not familiar with their gods here.  But as time went on, he had others to help and he grew distant from me, rarely speaking unless in someone else
