It would be nice to be able to sail from Arnax to Nith (visa versa). Currently you have sail from Arnax to Lor (diff continent) to Stort (diff island) and the to Nith (which is on the same continent as Arnax). Maybe its politics thats prevented this route in the past....not sure

Report/entry as follows: On the Bird Lord's invitation a group of us including more than few Angels went searching for proof of an idea. This idea was that something was driving the giant worms from their normal locations into the areas of the deep they were being seen. Our investigations led us to the Crags,a place of the elementals, where we searched fire and earth, air, and water. In water we discovered a series of partial tunnels that by the clue we found, a platinum spring gear, we thought could be some sort of gnomish digging contraption. We also discovered a bit of parchment, with the words, "Leastwise that is what Drezneb confirmed long ago."

I'm pretty sure that when you apply an elemental resistance to an item that has some other resistance i.e. slashing, peircing, bludgening the elemental resistance overwrites the other resistance. So you are correct. Guess you could ox wash it and hope it doesn't change the stats!

Recent stirring in caves across Layonara and sightings of giant purple worms have sparked movement within the Angels Guild. A call of action has been made and the Angel's will lead a party in The Deep and explore and seek answers to these recent anomalies. All like minded individuals are welcomed to come and to offer their insight. We will head out from Fort Miritrix months time. The Angels guild will also be gathering resources for their crafters and shop and claim rights to all crafting resources. Those that come, will be offered credit toward purchase of items at the Angel's Guild Store. Loot and trues found while exploring will be shared equally by all that attend. //Please be warned that this will more than likely be a 1 of 2 or 3 depending on time. So your character may not be seeing the light of day for a couples day or even a week depending on availability.

Were pleased to announce we've selected Tobias to help us out with some GM duties. He's shown a strong ability to coordinate player events, helped me out with many things in the transfer to EE, contributed to module development and has experience with the DM client and DMing on Layonara. Tobias will start out getting re-acquainted with the tools doing some small flavour and impromptu things then we hope he will soon be able to start contributing to quests. Please welcome him back!

Theres a trade skill journal? that can be purchased in game that will tell you your crafting skill level/points needed to reach next level. Also by clicking on one of the skills in the journal it will take you to a list the top ten crafters in that particular field. The list is for crafters who have logged in within the last 90 days I think Orth said. The old all time crafters list unfortunately does not exist anymore that I can find. We discussed all this on discord recently hehe!

Thanks to everyone for helping us get a lot of the bugs squashed and making the migration a lot smoother than I thought it would be. We will be running a bonus event for the rest of the month of May to say thanks! All Fortune, XP and GP multipliers have been increased. I also want to measure progression a bit and try to find the fine line between character progression and time spent. I'm not sure what the end multipliers will be but I'll collect some data during this event and perhaps set XP, GP and Fortune at a value somewhere between regular and bonus events. Or I may just leave it be

Something stirs below the town of Center and the townsfolk look to the new faces moving about town for aid. A rough scrawled notice is posted in the inn and trade hall: Lookin fer folk good wit a blade te help chop up some critter in de crypts! bring ye own mead! Ain't sharing mione! *Looking to start up a group of first level characters to adventure around the world once or twice a week, as long as our schedules don't conflict.  We will start in Center* **Will try and start around 8:30pm edt and hopefully finish up around 12:00am edt

First off, thank you to everyone for quickly reporting the bugs and having patience as we work through the kinks. This was a significant update and there was bound to be some niggling issues here and there. Now some random notes. - The old 1.69 server will continue to run for a while as we make sure everything's okay and there's no need to fall back to it or log in on that end to check something. Characters who continue to play on 1.69 will be able to be migrated by hand.
- There may be some changes to lore to open up some of the areas that are currently inaccessible.
- For the most part, I will be dealing with the administrative end of things for NWN now. Dorganath and rowana are still accessible but they're more in the background.
- Project team members will be welcome should you have interest in building new areas or contributing in other ways.
- All old information has been ported to https://wiki.layonara.com but we need to add structure. Use the search functionality if you're looking for something.
- There will be another bonus period starting soon.
- If you're having trouble accessing your characters from the vault, create a test character and let me know the name of your test character and I will move your PCs over
- The address is ee.layonara.com:5121, we'll also show up under the server listing
A further note on Layonara lore Layonara's lore is a bit muddled with general staleness as the time has passed, among other things. We ask that you do your best to work with what you know right now. Things may have to change a bit to suit some planned improvements to NWN, so please do your best to work with what's necessary for you to enjoy your time here. The future you create through NWN will still be decided by you the player, but for the most part, that will stay as NWN lore. It may so happen that canon Layonara lore will diverge through other outlets and production in the future, but that doesn't mean NWN Layonara is not true. Much like comic book timelines, it's all true and meant to be enjoyed. If you have any questions on this or any other things, feel free to let me know. All the best, orth
