Nah you don't Left trigger, right trigger, tap left trigger again, right trigger, tap left trigger again, right trigger. 1-3 kills right there.

Until you get bored of auto aim like me and switch to expert targetting ;)

I just wish I could get half-orc a double axe too!

Trust me, I hate wirless, but a hole in the wall is pointless - I usually have a physical connection my other router anyway, but won't until issues with my old ISP have been resolved (this has nothing to do with the problem at this point).

Back to trying to solve the wireless issue....

No other computer on the wireless has any problems, laptop running off same connection, experiencing low ping from the same room, as soon as this computer is put back into action, again, no problems at all.

Only from the new computer, using most of the same hardware, software, network settings, router config is has not been changed, DNS has not changed, computer picking up the correct IP address, other computers can browse to it, but receiving data is slow.

Roleplaying / Re: WL frustrated with options offered
« on: June 28, 2010, 07:55:32 pm »
So far from being a WL I have enjoyed it, I have been able to do things that previously G'ork couldn't do, access to information from a few more sources, it all helps towards roleplay I really enjoy going through with others.

But to do stuff like this you have to let the GMs know what your character is doing, so they can give you feedback on the options/ideas you give them. It does overall make the world seem more in depth, and detailed, and even tailored to your characters story.

I stopped playing for a while due to being busy, and also due to the fact that there was not much going on for G'ork or my other characters, but right now theres been plenty going on, and thats what makes me log back on, to continue g'ork's own personal quest etc.

It doesn't even have to be a WL these days that can have impact, as many GMs state in their quests, actions have consequences.

I agree with Storold there was a point where WL did seem...all powerful, and most of them did have extremely high status', but I am glad honestly the gap has gone done a huge amount. Players are capable of doing just as much as a WL, it's just a WL has gone through a lot more of a personal journey to get where they are.

But getting back to Storold's point - You can do something with your status, you just need to prod the GMs with ideas for consideration or even asking them if they have any jobs for you, like I actually did yesterday infact.

And in regards to the things you find out about that become inevitable, well it's probably not you that failed, but some one else along the way. And if it was you, tough luck ;)

I would go except G'ork would be aiming his axe at Kobal :) And vice versa.

Being serious though, if there is a trip and you need extra I can grab Ranéwin.

Roleplaying / Re: Kudos for great roleplay
« on: June 08, 2010, 04:03:12 pm »
Kudos to the following people/characters for making G'ork who he is today:

G'orks beginning:

Jaldaric - Earliest travelling companion, one mean dwarf.
Kalin - The first mage G'ork considered a friend.
Forko - Drunk dwarf arguing with G'ork most of the time.
Fifty - The Goblin G'ork booted into the lake outside Vehl.
Bumblebee - G'orks first rogue, taught G'ork basics of stealth.
Brian - G'ork betrayed him, and later assassinated him, was a lot of fun.
Voon - Sold G'ork his Mithril Axe.
Jin - For being a pain in the neck to G'ork
Lino - The loyal trapper.
Krys - The blur.
Brandon (Dogboy) - For escaping G'ork after a brutal massacre.
Dezza (not sure of character) - For being part of said massacre.
pseudo(again can't remember character) - For sparking the massacre.

The thunder peak days:

This was the pinnacle of my time on layonara I'd say, some of the best trips I've ever been on, some terrible moments, some unforgettable ones. Mostly just a lot of good humoured roleplay. One moment in particular which lead to the funniest soul strand loss I have been through. I'm sure the group can recall.

Goldwin - Talents without limits.
Gravas - The meatshield
Hardragh - The noise
Tobias - The fool

Chongo - For the incident with undead dwarven king, deep down in the chasm of the thunder peaks. Not sure I will ever forget Tobias' screams.

After the war in the thunder peaks:

Ami - Gave G'ork the gift of happiness. Non-stop laughs, often got both of them into trouble, and makes one hell of a bandit. G'orks true friend.

Emie - Ami's close friend, often the one to stop Ami causing trouble. Always the one to argue with her. Loyal to her friends. Has G'ork's axe whenever it's needed.

Also a big Kudos to all the the other people who have been involved with G'ork over the time, especially this lot:

Kobal - Most annoying enemy to have on your tail.
Jennara - Another annoying enemy to have on your tail
Sasha - Arch rivals through the number of encounters
Argali - The cause of the lockdown at Western Gate. Numerous attempts to arrest G'ork. None successful. Arrested Ami
Fenrir - The brute. They have had one scrap through rolls during roleplay where G'ork escaped, and one duel where G'ork got beaten to a pulp in the arena competition a few years ago.

Dezza - The person that is fully responsible for the mess that is G'ork. Thank you for all the work you put in, Dezza ran every single one of G'ork's cdq's, and was a pleasure to have him flesh out the story, expanding it down paths I could never have seen around the corner.

Amulet works fine for both.

Hood does not work on NPCs.

Edit: Though I've suddenly thought maybe it doesn't work for creatures including giants etc?

Thanks to Script Wrecked for getting back to me.

Amulet fully tested and works on both. However still no success on using the helm on a falcon. Unless that bird has immunity to mind spells, or they all had incredibly good will saves...can't see any other reason for failure. - It's not even showing a roll.

However it does when used on player characters.
