Milo has spent the last few days curled up with Kylie in the hollow that is their den. It's normal for him to hibernate for a week or two every winter in order to participate with the other animal's inactivity. But this winter is different, Milo has Kylie to share it with. He was pleasantly surprised to hear that she wished to participate, and Milo realized his want to have her with him was overpowering.
This was his time to spend with her without having to share her attention with others. He figured it is selfish but he didn't care at the moment, his attention was focused on being wrapped in her arms, feeling the warmth of her breath and touch of her lips on his. He discovered this was one of the few ways to keep her occupied until she was ready to sleep again, and he didn't mind being smothered by her kisses and cuddling. Milo looks forward to their time awake every time he closes his eyes to return to his slumber.
The nights are cold and frigid, not to the point of snow, but frost coat the trillium and redwood violets every morning. He prefers to sleep in his bear form because he generates enough heat to keep Kylie and himself warm. The last thing he normally remembers before falling completely asleep is Kylie pulling his furry bear arm around her to ward off the cold and the slowing of her breath into a steady rhythm. Milo will sometime lay awake for a period of time when Kylie is still settling down and he murmurs his thoughts and ideas to her about their house and his garden until she falls asleep with him following suit minutes later.
Only a few days left and they will bring their hibernation to an end. She's taken a firm hold of his heart and he's doesn't fight it. Milo's tribe warned against foreign men and women and that has kept him from being attached to anyone, even to other Halflings. He's shared to Kylie that he feels guided by his ancestors and that his Elders would probably not be happy to find out that he has found a lover, not only a foreign woman, but a human! He chuckles lowly and draws Kylie in closer as he loses his consciousness.

Wren, they have a buncha shamans with trueseein', I can't use my shadows in order to get close, now if we go old school, we should be able to get in. We can use the dunes, use some orange or sand colored clothin' to disguise ourselves... we can only try, but we'll be hard-pressed because their eyes are sharper than normal.

He has paper all over his lap as he rereads, rewrites and recites sentences that are written in Elven. He scowls at the difficulty of having no one there with him to help, but his stubborn personality helps keep him going. He pulls his journal out for a quick break.* I'm teaching Missus Jil Halfling! It's exciting to teach her, it's a lot of fun and it's easy for me since she knows how to go about learning. I hope she doesn't do what other people do and speak it in front of those who don't know it! So in return, she's teaching me Elven! So people can't talk their elven in front of me and think they have all the privacy! I'll understand and I can come up with the proper retort. That really gets under my skin, not only is it disrespectful, it's dumb because those people aren't big enough to insult a little Halfling face-to-face. But I am determined not to act like those non-Elven people who talk Elven like it's their native language. It's fun learning from her, it's pretty to listen to her talk and I'm probably butchering it in every syllable I speak, but Missus Jil is really patient, we sat forever swapping sentences that use different sounds so we get comfortable putting them together to produce a sentence. I can't wait for our next lesson! -Tod

*Tod sits on his bed with his book in his lap, reciting his Elven sentences that Jil has given him. He is a little more comfortable and a little bit smoother since he's been at it ever since their first lesson. His frustration is obvious since empty pie tins litter his bed and his Elven book pages are smudge with pie filling.* I'm struggling Miss Jil! It's really difficult, but I'm getting better! It's a really nice language, but it's kicking my butt. So many tongue twisters, even saying the simple words, I have to turn my tongue at least five times! *He goes down the page and sighs, furrowing his brows and hanging his head* My temper is becoming so short after the years. I used to be able to shrug most stuff off but now even the little-est thing sets me off, the shadowdancing gets to my head. I'm even to the point to where I even yell at my oldest, dearest friends! I don't know what's going on. *rubs at his eyes* I just need to calm down a little bit, that's all. You don't have to been known all the time! You don't have to let everyone know that you do some things better than others, Tod! Because those people can do things better than you can, too. It's time mellow out old buddy! Life was happiest when everyone are friends. -Tod *He shuts his book and picks up the book with the notes he received from Jil to continue his recitation and practice.*

I just realized that when you go into Dead Eye, little red x's appear, but I don't remember how I got them to come up, and then he pulls out his Evan's Repeater and makes it rain.  But I was shooting with normal cross hairs for the longest time. I finally reached level 5, and got a horse! I was in the north with a buddy on his horse, cougars wolves and bears kept getting my donkey. :mad: But it's pretty neat online.

I bought it yesterday and spent like 2 hours trying to catch the train for an achievement. It's pretty good, but I need to get a hang of the controls before playing online.

I played it at a friends house, shot birds out of the sky for half a hour, the graphics are awesome. There's no way my parents would let me have that game for our Xbox, so only good comments from me.
