I completely agree with PnP.
I realize my playtime is erratic which makes it basically impossible to level some of my characters, hence why I have a stable full of level 8-11 with one exception a level 21 who I started 5+ years ago!
The times I can play is when no one else is on, so I craft... there's no XP in that, but I do still play!
But..... I know my characters are basically stuck at or near the levels they are now, which at times makes it seem pointless for me to log in. I know its a RP server, but I do like leveling!
I would love one level per month for one character, NOT ALL of my characters.
(I did not read entirly through this thread so some ideas might already be there)

I would make a respectful request.
I would like to maintain this thread for it's original purpose, to talk about increasing player base, not to talk trash.
I understand why people get upset, especially if they feel attacked, and as Link said, text DOES NOT convey actual emotions.
Please everyone, view this thread as a way to make Layo better, not criticize what has been done in the past.
I have greatly enjoyed my years here, and it makes me cringe watching people bash the VOLUNTEERS that have kept me, and my son, and now my daughter, entertained for years.

Or.... you could send a friendly tell to a higher level character and have them come OOC slay the monster if you get no response on GM channel. I know if someone sent me a tell like that I'd go kill it to save someone a SS loss that stumbled across it or the loss of alot of hard earned True, like happened to Teo.

Yuppers.... I had a similar issue when I typed a cap into my log in name accidentally. It won't stop you from playing but it will mess with your furniture....
