Wow, my husband applied to be interviewed for a documentary about online gamers...and they're going to come do it! I'm not sure what to expect but this should be one heck of a date night! *The first thirty-three pages of this are mundane musings on tailoring, Michael Mordicai, her family, her Path of Wind, and her friends. No mention of the MAF, the Lich, Drezneb, her part in defending the Great Oak, or anything other world activities. The following entry is the first that mentions Broegar or Prantz.*
Well, strangest things. I was not too sure about Broegar for the longest time he was with Blood's army after all and had demons in his army. But he is merciful! He spared most of a group of lawbreakers, some I sort of know from Hlint but since I haven't lived there for so long I barely know them anymore. And they did break the law.
I've talked to Mikey and I've decided. I'm going to work for the govenment. His dad does after all and from what he's told me Derrick Mordicai is a good man. Adventuring is fun but I think I need to give something back. I'm trying to learn orc so I can work for demi-human affairs and maybe help others like me.

You've seen that notice bout the executions? I've seen lots of folks looking. I've been thinkin. Tell me yer opinion on this.

We can't do this by violence. Them folks in Pranzis have seen too much an they're not going ta respond ta that. What I think we need ta do is force Broegar to show his hand. He took Pranzis by force; he was one of Blood's Generals, by gods! But folks needin water an food forget that when their children cry. Now, they have basic comforts an we need to remind them what he IS. What he STILL is.
We need ta challenge him. A public discussion on the executions...before they happen! I don't see him jumpin to cooperate, an if he does, names will be taken. So there is risk. But the folks an them guards that are still good at heart an I'm sure there are some...will see. What ta do bout the executions, I don't know. But I do know I can't stand by an watch my friends hang. So we force it before, expose the trials, try for amnisty, for banishment, for some concession that appeals ta the hearts of Pranzis, maybe the people will force the issue. If not, then I don't know.
But beyond that...
We need ta challenge his leadership. Lawfully. A person ta "move Pranzt forward", ta emphasize that while Broegar brought law ta the city, he ain...isn't the one ta reshape it. Challenge him ta step down to a General role again now that order is restored. Let a person with the forsight ta build and improve take the reigns. You know he won't go fer that! That will force him out, an again it will be dangerous, but I think we got ta give the people a reason to revolt. He kin hold the city as long as he kin hide behind a mask of civility. Let's peel that mask off.
Anyway, that's what I've been thinkin. Requires folks ta take big chances, an I'm one that will. I can't be the one ta challenge him...*points to her skin and fangs* but I'll put my neck on the line just the same.

I am looking for someone who can grind topaz to dust with reasonable success. I have tried and I now have a great deal of respect for what you do, as well as many new bruises on my fingers and a crick in my back that won't go away. Since I have a character that has reached 20 in a craft, I took a look at the crafting tables and noted that from 23 to 24 it is an 11-fold jump of 110,000 experience points. I was wondering, given how difficult it seems to be to find things to craft at that level anyway, why so much? It is analogous to the large experience bubble from level 20 to 21?

Corba has recently been given this wonderful staff from a friend. Can the staff be enchanted with silver and elemental damages, given that it appears to be a dropped item and not a created one?

So, I finally get out from under the mountains of work at the temple and find myself in the city I was called to, Hlint. Lady, if I never see another needle, or thread, or skin, or blanket again I will rejoice.
I have met a few people, notabley Dust; a beautiful young elf whom I think is looking for her sister, and a dwarf whos name escapes me at the moment. Why is it, I ask myself, that dwarves get the best hair? His was long, thick, silky and had great body. Everyone thinks it's the elven race that has such wonderful hair, but they simply don't look beyond the faces or height of the dwarves. To have hair like that!
I digress. I assisted Dust in helping the local tax collector, and then she wandered off. A young man named Sallaron and a cleric who again, I did not get the name of, assisted in another task that involved the deepest depths of the crypts. I must say that I feel I am on the correct path. My Lady blessed me twice in one day with new spells! And my turning of undead creatures is becoming very difficult for them to resist. I am very pleased by this and will be spending much time there I think.
It's difficult, not having a space to sleep in, or regular access to a bath. I can't shake my vanity. Smelling bad is just something I do not want to do. I have been renting space at the local inn in the evening but it does not come with water. I will have to do something about this.
I'll rest now I think. It will be a few hours getting the smell of the sewers out of my boots anyway.

I have seen the level limit list for enchantments and enhancements on armor and weapons, very helpful. But I'd like to know if there is a list somewhere for items such as jewelry. I'll be looking at rings of (insert ability here) +2 soon and don't have a clue when I can equip them; same for amulets of any kind. I've looked all over the forums, can someone point me toward what I undoubtably missed?
