I've been rping devotion to a deity for a little while, and wanted to know how long I should wait before requesting the deity to be put onto my character.
Personally, I don't know how long it would take...Rhynn jumps into things pretty quickly. Its her nature and has been as long as I played her. A perfect example of this would be how quickly she agreed to sign up with the Arcane Alliance. Another would be how quickly she decided to jump into the art of necromancy.
I know when I (the player) was jumping around with religions. I joined up with the one I was interested in within a month, due to how quick -I- jump into things...
If I rp this characteristic of Rhynn out, how long would it take to get a deity addition approved?

“Rhynnala, Sweetie get down here now!” Came the familiar voice, somewhat stern, from the floor below. I scowled. Was the ‘ala’ really necessary? I don’t think there was any other in the house. He knew who I was, I knew who I was , so why couldn’t he just do ask I asked for once. Making a face, I said what I always did upon hearing my full name used.
“Can’t you just call me Rhynn like everybody else!? I’ll be down in a second!” I took the cool ice from the newly formed blister on my arm, and threw it into the tub to melt. Hard to imagine what a few wrongly placed fire spells can get you…or did I get this one afterwards? I don’t remember.
I took the steps three at a time, clad in my white robe of sleeping. He probably just wanted me to cook breakfast or something. Never understood why, I was never much of a cook. Desserts , sure, but actual food? Not even a little bit.
“What is…” I began, then stopped.
Odd the way he looked at me this morn, his chocolate colored eyes seemed thawed, not at all as cold and collected as I usually recalled. Something in the way he looked upon me made me think that breakfast, chores or learning was not on his mind. Plus, he was holding a small parcel. I wonder what this was all about.
“Master Saebhel?” I questioned. But he disappeared.
I felt his presence though. A good illusionist can always tell when someone they know is invisible. He was still in the room…somewhere. I hadn’t gotten good enough to tell where. Ah, but then he slipped a loose arm around my waste and kissed my left cheek gently to let me know he was behind me. I smiled warmly. He usually pulled things like this when I least expected them. Never, when he was standing right before me.
“You should never let anyone sneak up on you like that my dear.”
“Not even you?”
“Not even me.”
I heard the unwrapping of a ribbon and the opening of a box behind me.
“Close your eyes.”
I looked behind myself, could make out his outline, just barely falling under my own height. I eyed him funnily as he repeated his request. I closed my eyes. Displeasing my master and mentor would be against proper reasoning.
I felt the cool touch of…something, go round my neck.
When he gave me permission to open my eyes, I glanced down and was taken back in shock. There , round my neck lay the most elaborate necklace seemingly made of pure diamond. My mind could not grasp such a gift, nor could I find the words to thank him.
“S..Saebhel..” I muttered, breathlessly.
“Listen Rhynnala” And he stopped me before I could correct him. “Because I’ll only say this once.”
“Let this be the sign. You are bound to me. And If you ever leave me, I will find you. I love you my sweet Rhynnala, and If you ever run, I will kill you.”
Rhynn wakes up from her nap , after a long day, obviously not remembering a bit of her minds subconscious rambling.

I'd just like to say, that if I am not on as much as the addicted self that I am in the next few weeks, its because I have things to do to lead up to my Highschool Graduation on the 16th..
I'M FINALLY OUT OF THE PRISION CALLED HIGHSCHOOL! YAY!!!!!

PS: It's scary when Real life people start accepting your addiction and words like "Shadows Keep you" "berk" "piking sod" "barmy" "addled" "Iracce" and "Frilly" become acceptable words amongst your peers

Blex this accursed place! Why!? Why have I been pulled from the Endless Night to endure this? Is this yet another test , must I further prove myself as worthy in The Dark Mother’s eyes? Haven’t I shown my faith and my ability through overseeing those human slaves, by slaying those wretched surface dwellers and ...ed followers of The Redeemstress? Haven’t I’ve shown my worth?
And to …how do they say it? Top it all off? I am being forced to live in a town where Drow have not only lost all of their respect, but must go around in hoods so no one recognizes them for what they truly are! It is an outrage! We are a proud race, superior to surface walkers and our poxed top dwelling kin! Why must we hide in shadows?
I refuse, I will show my obsidian skin proudly, and if any human, elf or otherwise tries to tell me to hide myself I will cleave their skull. I will not stand for anything less than the fear and respect I deserve. I am a descendent of a great War Mistress; I will become a great War mistress myself! I will show myself, prove myself to my people, to my Goddess, and to these surface dwelling fools, that despite these extra cursed fingers on each of my hands, despite the fact that I should have been killed at the birthing, that I will be stronger than all of them, and then they will see…..
That being written upon, amongst the Drow that have lost all sense of self, that follow nothing or follow the Wretch, I have found at least one who deserves my respect…Well, as much respect as a male and a mage can deserve at any rate. He did not give me a full name to remember him by, but left me with the name he gave to those blexing humans so they would think he was crazy and harmless: Albert Gubblewucker?
He was a strong mage, able to kill many foes at once with a great wail. He said wise things. He said that I should pretend to get along with the surface dwelling kin, and with the humans so I could grow strong and surpass them. He said that no good would come of yelling at everyone. He said: “You know you are above them, but why not humor them for your own personal benefit” Or something…of that sort?
He told me that when he was ripped from the Underdark he was much like me, young, and ..well, not weak, but not as powerful as he could have been. He apprenticed under a strong human necromancer, and then became powerful himself, surpassing him in power.
To Remember the Endless Night, he gave me Boots of the Spider, which makes me think he is a follower of the Left Hand of Black. Again, something to be respect, almost as much as me. I think I will seek this man out again and try to learn more. I will also heed his advice, in taking the humans’ help , completing the tasks around town so I can make myself stronger…
I will return to the Endless Night a strong Woman, and then become the War Mistress myself.

How long generally would I have to rp this before requesting an Ear?

Can I use the Character Development Forum and make a new topic to write letters between two of my characters?
Or should it be done in each seperate Char development journal. I think the first way would make more sense, I plan to do it quite often and Don't want to flood my journals.

Does Weapon Finesse work with the Katar? Far as I'm concerned a Katar?
Seriously, I don't understand...are Katars a specialized weapon unique to Layonara?
I really want my rogue to use two of them, but only if Weapon Finesse works with it.

Funny, People think that because I talk funny, that I will then by means of logic write funny too. I am self educated, I can write just fine thank you very much. I could speak normally if I wanted to to, I choose to sound the way I do...
But that doesn't matter..What matters is that a dragon decided I was worthy of his cause and called me to Hlint. I know that's not too far from Leilon , where Ezra is though, so I'm not that scared.
I met some "Very Tall Meesters" today...One was named Kyle and he helped me get a tax book for some lady near a courthouse, and a rat pelt for a man named Johan in the trade house. I also met a tall paladin man named Thomas, He seems playful. Xeen would like him.
Speaking of Xeen, I met a very nice Xeenite named Alyse. She's a Xeenite priestess and helped me make the new armor that Kyle's wife Ferrit (a funny name for a person , more like an animal I think) let me buy into something more Xeenish. I have yet to show Alyse what I came up with but I think she'll like it...
That's about all that's happened today. I think I'll go visit Ezra soon so he doesn't worry about me. He knows I like to wander off and do my own thing, I wonder if he'll believe me.

I really want my two characters to meet eachother, But I realise that In game, this would be impossible.
Is there any way I could Rp something out and put it in the character Dev section for approval? I don't mind all of the extra writing, since a writer is what I am above everything else.
I just wanted to know if this sounds reasonable, or if it is a form of God Modding.
If someone else wants to rp my character to level it out I'd be fine with that as well

I don't know if this question has been asked a thousand times, or where to find it. I looked in the FAQ, and if it is there I must have missed it.
I was simply wondering if players were allowed more than one character. I mean, someone told me that some people have more than one, I was wondering If I would be able to make another, or if you have to be at a certain level on your first character to qualify for a second one..

I don't know if this is normal, But I just started playing on Layonara (West Server) and I died, and Now I've been stuck in the death void for about fifteen miniutes.
I looked for forums on this, and the last one I found is almost a year old..
The two things it stated (Something about binding yourself to a stone, and using the gem of rememberance) I've done. I'm binded to a stone, and the gem has no Use option.
I'm not sure what to do, or if things have changed since that forum was made to make this normal. I looked up Death Void on LORE and found nothing
