General Discussion / Re: Current state of Layonara?
« on: March 09, 2021, 10:31:17 am »
One thing that has changed

It is a lot easier to get through the lower to mid levels (1-20) due to a nice system that Orth has developed which provides less grinding than just going out to kill monsters, and it also fosters teaming. This will also have a big impact on the rest of the progression as it scales.

Rp well, while there's no partying level gap rules anymore, RP is still very much fun as always.

*once again Feh comes in the shop, leaving a trail of mud and clay tracks and unloads in the Chests*

Well that's it for the clay.. 1000 total... *exhales*

Now to get toasty in the desert...

*he deposits 551 lumps of clay for a total of 1000 and another 163 arabic gums for a total of  349*

*Feh comes back hours later, sits on the steps of the shop and takes his boots off to get the sand out of them.*

Man... it gets everywhere...

*He puts them aside and wiggles his toes in the grass while looking up at the sky and sighs. After a few minutes he puts them back on and goes into the shop to drops in 144 glass ingots in the chests then heads back out toward the desert*

//total of FP now available for collection off of feh is 41 points

I need a bath..

*He leaves for his home to take a well deserved bath.*

Trade and Market Hall / Re: Naldin buys a Hearth Shield for 35,661 True

// GP Value: 47,548T x 0.75 = 35,661T; hope this is how it works. ~Script Wrecked //

Yes it is and if you had any credit you could have used up to 50% of that credit, to bring the total down to 50% of the lense.

NWN Ideas, Suggestions, Requests / Vale Reconstruction Donation point
« on: February 19, 2021, 03:13:15 pm »
Would it be possible to have an option added to the donation center, where people could hand out their donation in materials/trues to, like Jenara had when she was rebuilding corsain?

I'm asking mostly to have it centralized and save time for Milty to handle :)
But also for transparency so that there’s no confusion about where and who are using the trues/cnr

*Feh's whipes his hands against each others after nailing the notice, happy to get things in motions*

Good that's now under way.

The Pak for the most part are happy to lead the effort and I still need to see Valeria to see if she want's to partake in this. But now that the word is out, maybe more will want to join up to help us with those that might have escaped the butchering and would want to get back to their ancestrial home.

*He looks at Gorm and Talia*

Think it's worded fine?

NWN Ideas, Suggestions, Requests / make trivial items craft in one go
« on: January 29, 2021, 10:44:14 pm »
Would it be possible to have all the trivial items craft in one go, and stack inside the crafting tool?

Example, presently crafting iron spike stud are only done 1 by 1 even if you load up the tinkering.

would be nice if trivial items could be made in one go and just stay on the tool used to make them so they don't drop on the floor.

I'm kinda surprised that Syl'via is so seak as a skald then. Sure she only has 10 level of bard as of yet + her 5 skald level. But if I'm to take this into account with her +10 cha mod pretty sure she should be doing more. Oh well.

*As Fehriel sees the the note he growls in a low growls as no one has ever heard him do before he then rips off the note. In it's place a note hung by a dagger with a wolf decorated handle*

You FOOLS!! It's not enough that we had the black plague, but we've lost so many towns, villages and people to the green dragon cult war. You are placing my pack in danger, I will have word with you... if word they are.

A wolf paw with an elaborate F in the center is stamped

*Fehriel then storms out heading to Prantz to speak with some of the denizen on who might have gathered there on their way to an excursion.*

NWN Ideas, Suggestions, Requests / Re: Portal Change
« on: October 15, 2020, 02:42:50 am »
already had a small talk about it on the builders channel and Dorganath brought up this following reasoning, although I'm paraphrasing here.

there's actually a very good reason that was brought in the discussion about it, is that it's due to some areas being able to be accessible for lower levels than those intended by Hilm or Miritix areas
and if the portal was set to there, then those lower levels wouldn't be able to reach the area's intended, at least not in a timely fashion like the Arnax point gives
one suggestion might be to place a new exit point while keeping the Arnax one though
so have one at Arnax, and one at Hilm for instance

*Riven tacks a note to the Loaner chest*

To Nate,
Thanks for making use of the crafter loaner chest!
Are you missing your encircling scale belt? My records show you borrowed a belt of cunning and later returned an encircling scale belt instead of a belt of cunning. Not that I'm complaining, as belts of cunning are easier to replace for me than the scale belt, but I imagine you may be missing it the next time you go up against demon spiders!

I'm not sure if this is hard coded in the game, but would it be possible to remove that penality.

I personally would have two toons that would pretty much always have their furry friends out on a trip, but I mostly keep them away so I don't impact the other players.

Would be great if we could have them without impacting the group.
