Hope mother and baby are both resting well.

Doesn't naming your weapon give you a chance to have an instant kill with one hit? Is that what type you are talking about?

Bumpity-bump-bump-bump.

While Essa does appreciate gifts, she is also a high maintenance girl so I would suggest leaving emeralds, rubies or mithril.  :)

Oh I can arrange for Amanda to leave her a gift or two.. ;)

NWN Ideas, Suggestions, Requests / Re: Remove Pixies as Familiars
« on: December 17, 2009, 12:34:49 pm »
I do understand how many hate pixes as a familiar.  Amanda's has always been a pixie named "Tora". Amanda no longer needs her for picking locks, traps etc... but I would be very sad to see her taken from Amanda because of rp reasons.  Tora has been with her from the beginning.

Edited to add... Amanda would not call her familiar until people of the party started asking her to.  You would be surprised how many times she has been asked to bring Tora out to deal with a trap or lock.

Maybe require less in crafting them as well?  Takes a lot of items in alchemy and scribing.  Amanda is trivial in both and it is almost useless now. With the new heal potions sold in the temples no one buys the red potions from crafters. Also the prices of selling scrolls are crazy due to all the work it takes to make the required Greater Scribing Scrolls, Lucinda touches and everything else needed to scribe them. The only useful scrolls that are sold are the raise dead and that is because they are not found in drops or temples.

Rumour Has It / Re: In The Wake of the Hempstead Tsunami ...
« on: December 07, 2009, 11:33:21 pm »
*Amanda can be seen spending several days at a time in the fields of Hempstead. Each time she brings with a bag filled with a bundle of food, drinks and of course books. She normally has at least one or two children with her, sometimes more.  May it be a little girl clinging to her leg or a rowdy little boy begging to hold her staff... she is often found sitting and reading with the children somewhere out of the chaos of the workers. Other times it may be just taking walks, taking them on gathering trips with her or creating illusion  to play with them.  Anything to keep them busy while the parents work on replacing everything they lost. *

Happy Birthday Geo!

I agree! Not everyone can play evil but you do it so well. Oh... Malkor isn't that bad either.  ;)   Now get him back in game.  Trouble was just saying how much he missed that little guy. :D

Trade and Market Hall / Contract for Construction Supplies
« on: December 05, 2009, 10:56:45 pm »
I would be more than happy to help gather the supplies for the
rebuilding. But right now my hands are full gathering for those that
have lost their homes in the recent waves that hit Mistone.  Once the
homeless have all been placed in homes I will begin to help with the supplies
listed here.

Then maybe Hempstead should not be so big?  It is spread out across 4 or 5 screens. Hlint was two?

But it seems the the destruction that has happened in Hempstead would force many to move else where? Couldn't this be a good time for rebuilding to happen in Hlint?

Introduce Yourself / Re: My Greetings to all of you
« on: November 27, 2009, 02:45:04 pm »
*Big wave*

First of all welcome to Layonara!  Same as Merlin.. as far as I know there are no restrictions for rangers.  I play one myself!  Not necessarily the first one you want to meet in game though.. some think she is a bit cranky.  O.o

Anyways.. feel free to send tells once you get your character approved and get in game. Most are more than happy to help out and show you around.
A big storm just hit one of the major cities so things are a bit crazy right now. So brace yourself.

Happy Turkey Day! :D

After "cooking" the turkey for two hours, I realized the oven wasn't on this morning. So it'll be a while before it's actually done... ;)

That will just make everyone more hungry waiting for it and it will taste that much better! ;)
