Ok, so I was wondering... why is it that the weird spell causes elementals and undead to die? Does it work on constructs? Is this a bug? It seems to me that an elemental or undead shouldn't be able to be frightened to death... and yet they are? Or has this been changed recently? Also, if a paladin is immune to fear, can they be weirded to death? What about oozes and jellies? Do they have a "will" to make a save? What about a bug? Do they see the spell and think "OH MY GOSH! It's a huge shoe about to squish me!! AHH! *dead*" Or should this spell really only be affecting sentient-non-undead-thinking-feeling-emoting-creatures who aren't immune to fear? Or is this just mechanically there for game balance, and the description is not exactly accurate and there simply for flavor?
Just a curious thought, I don't play a mage at current, so I was just wondering. Thanks for your time!

I don't know if this is happening to everyone, but frequently I will encounter creatures that attack me but I cannot graphically see them, nor can I attack them even when they attack. I don't auto attack. Today it was a giant. But this happens on many different boards on both servers for me. It says that I'm being attacked by "someone" and if I use the tab key I can see what is attacking me in floaty text, but still cannot target or defend or attack. If there is another creature next to it, sometimes if I fight that one first and make sure not to touch anything it will auto reselect and I'll be able to fight the invisible one. Things that I know this has happened with so far:
Spiders in the temple of Ca'duz
Spiders in the silkwood spider cave
Giants in both the forests and deserts of Dregar
Mummies in Storan's crypt
These are the ones that trigger in my mind at present, but there may be more. I don't have the logs for them because they happen fairly frequently. Often, others in the group will be able to see it and we'll end up having a conversation of "what are you fighting??" "this guy, can't you see it? it's right in front of you" "nope, it's not there on my screen"
Anyways, like I said... I don't know what causes them not to load on occaision, but it is there, and it does occur semi-frequently. Hope that helps.

If you were a character, what would you be? Not what would you play, but you as your real life self. If you could put it into a character description, stats, class, etc. what would you be? Take as many levels as you feel you have learned in life so far (so if you're younger, you're probably lower level) Have fun, see if you can be realistic! I'm gonna say if the average person lives 80 yrs, that would be 1 lvl for every 2 years for the average person.... HOWEVER, if you have spent more life experience than the normal person in some things, then you would probably be a higher level person (people who served 2 years on the frontlines of a war would probably be much higher lvl fighters than other people- you get the idea)

When I went to send a letter, not only could I send a letter from either Daniella's or Alatriel's accounts, but also could send a letter from Verideth or Layl Maaw's accounts... and where I do know them in rl, they are not my characters. Not sure if this applies to just my account or to others as well. Thanks!
They recently asked me to access their accounts to do some house cleaning, so is it because I accessed it on my computer?
And if that's the case... why doesn't it happen when hubby and I switch computers?

Rumor spreads from around Hlint that there have been sightings of a strange black horse with a horn coming from its head that was emanating a strange red light.... and then disappearing. The animals seemed to be a bit on edge also.

Rumor spreads about skeletons being killed by a couple paladins in port Hempstead fields and in the Ire Mountains. Something about gnolls preparing for battle against vampires and that there may be more out there. People are urged to take caution when travelling through this area, and the people of Port Hempstead are warned to keep a protective watch over their families.

Reports state that a woman with a pale face and black and red clothing is wanted in regards to these heinous crimes. Authorities are taking all precautions to protect against further atrocities and all residents residing within and around Ft. Llast are urged to lock their homes and keep their children guarded. Citizens are urged to report any and all suspicious activities and persons immediately.

A small group seems to be gathering around the crypts of Krandor, there is talk of the Shining Hand and vampires and undead. It seems that they think the Hand may be somewhere in the crypts. They seem to be accepting of anyone who wishes to join the cause in rescuing him.

So many things have happened since I first came to Ft. Llast. I've met a lot of people, and seen a lot of things. My favorite place to be still is fighting skeletons in the crypts in Vehl. I love to watch as they crumble under the might of Toran's power, and know that I am able to channel that power for His purposes. That city is plagued with problems, not only of undeath, but of greed, prostitution, and otherwise lost souls in general. I do what I can to help.
One of the older paladins in this area that I have met, Mr. Balazar went with me and a large group of people on our second attempt to clean out a large crypt that we discovered deep in the Sooth Moors. He said that it was at one point home to a lich that Master Quantum killed. I asked if it was THE lich... the one that they talk about him killing before he was appointed the Hand. He never did say though. Mr. Balazar asked me to walk with him, so I obliged. We traveled all the way by boat to Alindor and fought a few giants before coming to the Lake of Glass. He said he wanted to tell me a story. He told me of a paladin that he once knew by the name of Maev O'Leary. He said she rose to power quickly, and had a tragic fall because she lost faith in Toran. It was a very sad story, and she seemed to be a scar on Toran's glory... to break and oath and to fall like that. But then Mr. Balazar said something awful. He said I reminded him of her. I assured him that I have less than no intention to lose faith in Toran. I will not make the mistake that she did. He said that she put her faith in people over faith in her god. Well... I really don't see that happening. I keep trying to tell myself that I should live by the Beacon's example... that friends and other relationships complicate things. When I look at what Lance has been dealing with, I know she must be right. It does get lonely at times, but then I remind myself that I am never alone as long as Toran is with me.
I should try to figure out where my path is headed though in His service. Do I want to remain as I am? Continue down the path of the paladin, or do I want to follow in the footsteps of my mentor and become an undead hunter? I wonder sometimes about what she told me. About the corruption in the church. I know she would never lie to me... but no one else seems to notice it.

Dear Father,
I hope that I am able to make you proud. I have recieved orders that the Temple of Toran in Ft. Llast. Toran seems to be guiding me to where I need to go, and I have found people along the way that have been a blessing at each turn. I was fortunate enough to see the Beacon in the town square in Hempstead, however, there were a pair of Mistites that were causing trouble. The Beacon charged me to keep an eye on one of them, who I have later learned is the one called Jaelle Thornwood, who apparently associates with undead. I have been spending much of my time clearing out undead from a crypt in Ft. Vehl. The town seems to be lost as a whole, and inside and surrounding the town there is a curse that seems to be neverending where the undead need a regular cleaning. Don't worry for me, Toran has spared me again and again, and my body and soul are whole.
I have met a knight who seems to embody the true message of the church and lives by example as well as by the sword. I have spent a good deal of time with him and I see him as a good example to have in addition to the Beacon Ravenwind as to what I could become someday in the service of our god.
I hope things are well at home. Give my love to mother and to Samuel and Jacob. I know that they have probably grown so much since the last time I saw them. I'm sure by now they are learning to pick up swords already. I hope to be able to come home soon even if only for a short time, but for now I am needed here. I know you understand. Peace of the All Watching be with you.

Can someone please look at my character sheet and tell me if it's right? It's saying I've lost 3 points of intelligence, but my base is supposed to be a 14, and then when I sign on it says it's base 12, then minus 1... that doesn't make sense to me...

I read the guidelines for prestige classes, and I know that a character has to be lvl 10 in order to have a cdq, but I was wondering at what point should I put in the request for that prestige class and the cdq? I am currently lvl 9, and I understand that the gms all have very busy schedules, so should I ask in advance of getting to lvl 10? Thanks in advance.
