Just to be clear, what I'm saying is .25 x LP for items given to the store to increase your credit, and .75 x LP for items taken from the store to decrease your credit.  Obviously some things have stated prices like corn, scrolls, etc and those would be as stated.  I think this way customers would not be able to build credit so easy...it's really been too easy to increase your credit, and on the flipside, you have to think hard about what you wana pickup because you'll have less credit probably.  Craftable items obviously can have stated prices based on cost/profit margin.  The LP is good for all the "other" things that come in.

I always had a gut feel that for items given for credit should be valued at .25 × LP and items taken should be priced at the .75 x LP

*Rumor's spread of Lehyla the Pawner getting a bit tipsy at the Captain's Pub and bragging how she over heard two male dwarves and two female humans talking of Essrantor and plans for an adventure up the Thunderpeeks.  Then the talk got rowdy as the pub goers started comparing their giants to Essrantor's and things got heated.*

Hi Driggles is still up to no good!  All he sells is a pair of healing gloves (not really even that good) and healing supplies, and everything is way overpriced!  It's been that way for ever, but because all his stuff is known and way overprices he's kinda not used.  Maybe make him randomly sell stuff and at a fair or just above fair market price.  That would give characters a reason to go visit him and see what's new at his caravan!  Maybe throw in some surprise items once in a while or sales on stuff we'd actually use.
