He then holds out a hand.

"Alright, here's the catch. Flyer or no flyer, I don't give a rat's arse. Just find Alistair and bring him back alive."
She points towards the entrance of the castle, her features grave.
"We were supposed to meet you folks but he decided it would be much more dramatic to give the job inside. That dunce."
She rolls her eyes.

My sincerest apologies for suddenly disappearing but the yuletide season has transformed me into an overnight host for the ravenous horde that is my family. Now that I can at least breathe in my flat, I'll push things as planned. The first chapter should begin in-game next week!

[INDENT][INDENT]Upon closer inspection you'll notice that a portion of her robes near her thigh has been rent. Small patches of blood are seen around the area and the wound has already been carefully bandaged. Amidst all the inquiries, she stops and slams her book shut.
"Since I can't properly memorize any spells with all this nonsense going on around me, I may as well humor the lot of you."
She puts the book to one side and gestures toward the castle.
"My associate, Alistair, is inside, and I have to get the fool before anything else happens to him. Otherwise, I'll be in big trouble."
She sighs and then chuckles.
"You're all looking for him aren't you?"
She then holds out a hand.
"Gimme' your flyers and we'll talk..."[/INDENT][/INDENT]

[INDENT][INDENT]Still out of breath, the lady sheathes her sword and regards you all calmly. Garbed in a simple robe, the longsword seems out of place in her ensemble. She takes a moment to look at all of you before speaking. She stands and puts her hands on her hips as she addresses all of you.
"How convenient. If you're all here to save me, you may as well save yourself the trouble and go home. I ain't no damsel to be saved. I highly doubt that you can even save yourselves from what lies down there!"
She points toward the castle and you notice a trail of blood leading to the entrance. She rolls her eyes and takes out a large book with sigils of the Al'Noth and begins reading silently.

[INDENT][INDENT]The three men stop and look at Night with irritable looks on their faces. One of them speaks waves a dismissive hand at his companions. They all nod and continue drawing on the map as if chartering a route.
"I'll handle this one. You boys go figure out how we'll leave with the cargo.
He then moves closer to speak to Night and the others.
"You seek Velen, eh? Well, you won't find him here. He was here a few tendays ago but then he started packing and left for the woods. Haven't seen him since. Best of luck to you all if you're to find him."
With a shrug, he rejoins his companions and begins puffing on a pipe.[/INDENT][/INDENT]

[INDENT][INDENT]As you approach the entrance, you suddenly notice a lithe figure leaning on a section of wall. The figure is garbed in the clothing of a woodsman yet he seems to be reading a large book with sigils of the Al'Noth on it. His eyes focus on the book for a moment before noticing your presence. His eyes focus on each one of you before returning to the book. He does not speak. [/INDENT][/INDENT]

Like a steady procession of ants, the dock-workers go about their business hauling crates onto the ship. Amid such hustle and bustle, a few ants seem content to sit on a corner and smoke their pipes. She seems to be wielding a long blade and she hacks an unliving's head off and stops momentarily to catch her breath. She then slumps on the ground and begins cleaning her blade.[/INDENT][/INDENT]

Up to you. Which place would your character choose? I would recommend trying the Broken Halls since there are already a lot of players in the Gloomwoods Castle slot. It is ultimately your choice.
