Ask A Gamemaster / Alignment: Caster vs Familiar

Say, got a small question. Was thinking Lucindite Paladin/Wizard though the alignment of the familiar in mind is a tad opposite than that of the paladins. Paladin=Lawful Good, Hell Hound=Lawful Evil.



Was wandering if there be any kind of restrictions between caster and familiar alignments.



Also in terms of demons. Where would they come from? Another plane or some where in the same world?

Introduction

  I am Galiant Valdair. Born and raised in a small Elven village deep with in Wolfswood Forest. Perked high up in the tree tops. There I was taught everything about being a great bard, both in song and magic. Upon completing my training. My desire to achieve greater knowledge lead me to depart from my home and set out onto my own adventures. Before leaving however a priest of Aragen gave me this book to record any and all my findings. To write down just about everything that goes on in my adventures. So I have decided to name this book and its seemingly endless amounts of blank pages my own book of knowledge.

interesting, a game based from NWN but with its own LORE.

Now just need to think of a character to make.

Hmmm, no Black Guard so no LG Paladin to CE Black Guard ending in TN Fighter. Sorry, Character I had once in NWN. Mastering both light and dark. Being a true master of neutrality.

Hm, would a Paladin of Lucinda/wizard/Pale Master be doable or would he just lose his Paladin powers permanently? Never being able to be a Paladin again.

Or what of a Paladin of Rofirein/Wizard or Sorcerer/Red Dragon Disciple?

Did have a character thought for a Dark Elf Rouge/Assassin/Paladin. Only to to find out later Dark Elves can't be LG >:/

I know this game is big on its LORE and everything but I have my own views on good and evil. Nothing and no one are inherently evil. Its how only chooses to live there life. though that's just my own personal LORE.

I guess in a since one might say IRL/OOC I'm a TN I do like playing Neutral characters anyways.
