I'd like to see the Bowman class from PRC added to Layonara, personally.  But I don't know if its possible to just take a specific class out of the PRC and drop it into a different server's mix?  Its obviously coded already, I'm just not familiar enough with the PRC to know how modular it is, that way.

I agree with Merlin, and Gunthar.  I like the idea, as an option.  I would use it for one character only, most likely.  Certainly I think its a sensible reflection on our characters continuing to live, study, work, and adventure in the world even if the RL player doesn't have enough free time to play them all effectively.  It would be up to the player to decide if their character was more likely to work hard and develop, or sit back and idle through life when not being actively played.  Assuming it was a toggle-able command in game, similar to the one disabling xp from combat, then people would be able to turn it off and on to gain levels more slowly than one per month as well, to reflect how they saw their character's drive and current activities.

As an example, I spent some time away from online play recently, and my IC explanation was that my character Jenna spent her time on Xeen's island, participating in services and learning to tend grapes and make wine... partly to account for my RL time away and partly to cover IC explaining her suddenly being able to make Xeenite wine when she'd only brewed beer and ales before (from brewing skill rising.  Wines and beer are different animals.)  Several months passed there, but I wouldn't have had her gain levels during that period.   But now that I have her back in circulation and adventuring again, if RL took me away again, I might turn such a thing on to reflect her being active in a way that could improve her proficiency wielding the Alnoth.

A note left on the counter: "Hello, I stopped in to shop yesterday, but there was no clerk on duty at the time.  I was interested in some of the things in the 'magic usable by all' chest... but there is no scroll with prices in it?  That made it impossible to make purchases.  I know my credit, but have no idea of the items prices there.  

"One of the things I wished to buy is a pipe, so I need the prices on the various types so I may choose one.  A gnomish lens as well.   Possibly more, but I need to know their cost to decide.  Thanks!  -Jenna Gale"

Speaking for myself, since I don't know how crafting goes for others, I've noticed that when I craft I typically have some leftover materials I really don't want to take with me when I'm finished, sometimes its cnr resources, or byproducts, or things like extra flasks or molds.  Likewise tools, not an issue for someone strong - but we noodley-armed magic types and anyone else not hulked out probably tend to throw away tools after crafting because every 0.5 or 1 pound item adds up fast.  We can't leave the extra things in the craft stations, but throwing them away seems unrealistic to me.  We can't even usually sell them to the local pawner, since their services are (I think) level-locked, and my surplus craft items that sell for 1 gold are "too rich for their blood."   :/ So I wanted to suggest putting in a pair of chests in craft halls, or even just one.. but I was thinking one for tools-only, one for anything else.  Then we can leave these things behind where they might be useful to someone, not throwing them away unrealistically, or a character can use them further themselves when they come back if nobody else has.As far as it goes, I'd also recommend turning off the by-product of tanning (glass vials).  Dunno about others but I'm generally not set to go make essences right after working with leather, and it doesn't match the other bottles - oils (not tanning, polishing, nor enchanting) don't leave bottles behind.

"You stink."  came the growl from the shadows.

Elyse blinked, and looked around.  The shadowy panther lay there among the bushes at the clearing's edge.

"How did you get here Mrowr?" she asked, flicking her tail in annoyance.  She knew she stunk.. that short stocky two-foot had led her through artificial caves filled with unnatural.. things.  Destroying them had been good work, but messy and.. yes, stinky work.  "Last time I saw you, you were running off to court a mate, and that was an ocean away...?"

"Another male, she with him.  Followed you.  Hid in the floating den."  He stretched unhurriedly, making her wait before he wandered over to her by the campfire.  "Now here in new place."

She made a face, grimacing as she looked over at the town nearby.  "These two-foots are strange, barbarians.  They don't know how to live.. they smell, and make the land around them smell.  And they never shut up.. all day, all night.. there's jabber and banging and running around and..."

The panther sniffed at the fish she ad been preparing when he first spoke.  "...and it not like home?"  She had the distinct impression he was laughing at her then.  "It not home - it new place."  He then rewarded himself for his pearl of wisdom by swiping one of the fish to chew on.

She hmf'ed softly, "that one's not cooked yet."  He didn't answer so she sighed, poking the end of a stick with a spitted fish into the ground so the fish was over the fire.  "Its not home... I can't talk to hardly anyone... hey!" She gave the panther a glare at his amused look.  "Don't tell me...  I know.  That's how it always is for you.  But I expected at least a few to speak a civilized tongue...."

Mrowr sat up again having made short work of his fish.  "You wait.  Meet people.  Do people-things.  Have more friends soon."

She sighed and then hugged her friend, giving him a nuzzle as she purred softly.  "You're right.  I'm glad you're here, with you I'm not so lonely."

Mrowr turned to her and slurped her face with fish-scented tongue.  "You not lonely."  He murred, amusedly.  "Just stink."

Very minor bug in portraits pack - the portrait set for Kam is in there twice.  One older set from 2008, and a newer one from 2011.  I suspect it was updated and added to the rar, but the old portraits weren't taken out.

When I look at all the forums, in the NWN Persistant Server section, what stands out to me is the lack of any kind of announcements or upcoming-rp thread.  There are several for specific groups - people's inns or taverns or for ongoing long-running quests.  But what about upcoming quests/rp-events/festivals, etc?

Certainly some RP-events or upcoming quests can be unannounced and show up by surprise.  But for others it might be desirable to announce them in a vague way (Try to be at the silver buckle friday evening, prepare for an evening of strangeness...) or boldly with specific details, such as for festivals or tournaments that everyone knows are coming.

If there already is such a thread somewhere, I suppose I'm curious why its not at the main level, where its easy to find?
