Mangus situates himself at his post with some of the newer recruits. He entertains them with stories of his childhood as an orc growing up in a human Village. He makes them laugh from time to time as he describes some of the strange methods his grandmother employed in raising him. None of the recruits bothered to mention the strange curiosity of a human woman raising an Orc child.

Mangus and a peg leged dwarf wearing an eye patch over his left eye are looking up at the bulitin board. Mangus turns to the dwarf. "What's it say Gimpy?" The dwarf grumbles at him... "Ah! Yeah!" Says Mangus then he bends over and lifts up the dwarf, so he too can see the note. The dwarf pulls back his eyepatch and reads the note with both eyes. "Ses a fellah got one fer ye lad!" Mangus puts the dwarf back down. "Weelll aallwwrright! Ok Gimpy, write me a new note and I'll buy you that beer! Tell'm Er spends me days in dat hole er eh joint what yew likes to call home in Vehl! Tell'm Er wants to cut er deal!" Gimpy scribbles this all down badly on a piece of parchment and hands it to Mangus. Mangus looks at it blankly then pins it on the board. "let's go get that beer Gimpy!"

I'm good for Thursday. Mangus Crunch is a halfwit Orc basher type with some prayers at his comand, who babbles on for hours more or less about nothing. He can be a good source of information. The only catch is, since he is so dimwitted, the side of the story he will often tell you is usually a very simplistic version of it all, and to make things a bit more complicated, he struggles pretty badly with the queens language, so you will have to keep your wits about you to fully understand what he's trying to tell you. He's also pretty smelly and lacking badly in many social graces. But he is kind hearted. He can often be found in one of the more seedier pubs in Fort Vehl. Who else likes Thursdays?

Mangus, seated at the bar; some folk might say, other than being a bar, what he is seated at is more precisely two boards resting on two wooden horses, but in the part of Vehl where Mangus often finds himself drinking, it serves as bar enough, leans over to a new found friend, bonded by enough measures of Ironhorn bock; a grey bearded dwarf with a wooden leg and a patch over his right eye and say's " Er dunno Gimpy, on deh one han' we wants tuh catch dat guy, *burp* on deh other han' he's kill'n all kin'a folk what deserves punish'n!" The Grey bearded dwarf, gives Mangus a blank stare. He figured out about five rounds ago, that if he just sits there nodding his head and giving the behemouth blank stares, sooner of later Mangus will blindly buy him yet another round. Mangus stares lovingly at his own mug. "...But den....dere's dat question er 'law'n order.' Dem humans is quick teh point dat out! *hic!* Bah! Dey DO got er point! Can't be lett'n no crackpot go runn'n around decide'n what's right an' what's wrong!" Slowley swaying he looks over to the dwarfs mug, then to the dwarf, then to the slaad behind the bar, " Hey barkeep! How's about ernother round fer me'n Gimpy here!....*hic* ...Better make it er double!"

Mangus dropped off 4 malachite, one green stone, two fire agate, too dark silk for 270 store credit, added to his 20,800 store credit, gave him 21,070 in-store credit he then purchased one cobalt helm and one cloak of azata presumed value of 17,000 for these he deposited 1700 in coin and used 15,300 in credit. leaving him with 5770 in credit he then deposited 27 black silks valued at 1809 he then added his 1809 to his 5770 to get 7519 in-store credit.

Hey a big fat Kudos to Lon for keeping that Layo flame burning bright with his "The Revenant" Quest last night. It was yummy delicious with a bucket of chicken on top! (which Mangus enjoyed perhaps a little too much.) And just to be sure you all get the "warm'nfuzzies" I'm calling you all out! Thank you to Aesthir, Grog, Fleur, and Rasa for putting up with Mangus talking with his mouth full. It was great fun gang. I hope to see you all back on Wednesday! Yay! yay!
